Pretty good start. I enjoyed it. But, (yes, there is always a 'but') I really suggest getting yourself a beta reader. Someone who is strong in grammar and spelling, and knowledgeable about the Anita Blake universe (which, unfortunately, cuts me out since I have only read fanfic from that world). I can, however, help out with your description. This fixes the errors there:

"What happens when a pair of twins become a werewolf and a wereleopard, and then find themselves in St. Louis, Missouri? Oh, and they're eight."

I might even change that to read:

"What would happen if a pair of eight-year old twins were infected with lycanthropy, one a werewolf and the other a wereleopard? They'd be sent to St. Louis, Missouri, of course."

I wonder how Anita will deal with them, since she can't use any of her normal tactics to punish them. And they just made her angrier by making Richard happy. lol

OK, I like the idea of Anita being "blessed" with two kids. For a first story, this is quite good. I've often thought that Anita does need to "find the fun" as Cordelia once said. I do wonder what happened to the kids mom and dad. Was she the wereleopard who saved them at the first? I look forward to more of this story as I look forward to seeing Anita loose her cool, big time. Lol!

Like the other person said, your spelling and grammar leave much to be desired. Also, it wouldn't be lycanthropy for a wereleopard. Lycanthropy is from Greek: lykoi, "wolf" anthropos, "man". I'm not sure what the heck it'd be called, but a term used to describe wolves wouldn't be it.

I haven't read your story but I will do that after I post this. This isn't a flame, but a 'constructive criticism' - Please spell check your summary, it is very off-putting to say the least and frankly it isn't good 'publicity' for your story. Again, this is only my opinion. Good luck on your story!

Nice start! When I've read the Anita books I've often wondered what being a child were would be like. I look forward to seeing how you would explain it. Poor werepanther. At least she saved both kids.
