Review of chapter "Willow's Froggy Evening" from Shieldage
Awesome. I'm very happy you gave it to Cordelia. :D

I couldn't have Willow put the frog back into the cornerstone of a new building. The instant mail pickup is an old WB joke, and the only person Willow knows outside Sunnydale is Cordelia. Besides, there's still some tension between them.

I like how you stuck with the style of the cartoon. Dialogue would have changed everything. And sticking Cordy with it was genius.

Neat idea. I've always thought that if one thing should survive into infinity from this era, it should be the orginal frog cartoon. The parody of it in the movie "Spaceballs" was the highlight of that film.

Review of chapter "Willow's Froggy Evening" from Cutiepie
OK, but wasn't 'Crazy' done by Patsy Cline long before Willie Nelson? Aside from that (I'm also amazed that the frog knew so many more recent songs, since it was sealed in the High School's walls for what must have been a long time), I'm wondering if perhaps Doyle will wind up having frogs' legs for dinner. =]
I have to agree with your other reviewer about it not seeming realistic when the rest of the Scoobies are not believing or reacting with any real concern when Willow tells them about the singing frog. Especially when you take into consideration Willow's already-known phobia regarding amphibians. I instead am picturing her going to each of her friends to have them help her 'rub out' the critter. Buffy slays it, Xander tries something else, Giles tries to find a solution in his books, even Anya attempts to help out, but the frog just keeps coming back (like the cat in that song "The Cat Came Back".)
Anyway, fun and entertaining story. =] Thanks for sharing.

Willie Nelson wrote "Crazy," and Patsy Cline recorded it first.
I tried to stick as close to the original inspiration, "One Froggy Evening," as possible. Feel free to do your own version.

Interesting. Just one problem, can you imagine Willow's friend's acting like that if they really cared? It is the Hellmouth after all.
I always hated that frog, wanted it sliced and diced.
