interesting. It does leave me curious how she got there to begin with, and a few other background things, but not in a 'the story doesn't make sense without them' sort of way. I do know that you said this was intended as a single-shot, and it works well that way, although I wouldn't object if you ever decided to play in this world again.
I like the 'Queen See' liscense plates - it fits Cordelia. Now I'll just hope for her sake that the visions aren't as painful as when they first started....

Okay I can't stop thinking about this story. How would Cordy handle Jean-Claude? With a restraining order if he didn't back off. I can just see her with a range finder checking to see if any of his minions are within 50 yards of her and if they are having them arrested.

Despite having only crossover-familiarity with AB, you've done a delightful job here. Cordelia was spotlessly in character, and her abilityto land on her feet and make something of herself is true Queen C. Or should I say See. Very enjoyable ficlet, worthy of the characters and plot hook. Nicely done.
Ah, Cordelia Chase. You just have to love her. I liked your story and if she ever yells in your ear again, I hope you write the next part of her story down. I'm sure we will all enjoy it. Lol!
