Good story.
Sucks, though, that there is no 'out' for Buffy. That she will never be able to return to Heaven, and perhaps be with those she has lost.

An excellent story, and by far one of the best Highlander/Buffy crossovers I've read. Plus, you weren't afraid to kill the good guys, which a lot of people are. And you even gave Buffy a speech, just to keep her in character.

Even the confusing flashbacks and flash-asides were good -- I really believed that Buffy had slain Willow for a second...

Beautiful, just beautiful. After a bit of a shaky beginning, partly due to not being a Highlander fan, I quickly grew to love this story. The crossovers and blendings of characters and mythos (and a famous Mythos, for that matter) went surprisingly well and with very few hiccups. I even teared up at the end.
I would love if you came back to revise or add or expand on anything here. Thank you so much for writing, and may you continue to do so often and well. All the best to you and yours. :)

Great story. I especially liked how Faith can get all injured now but not die, kinda like a zombie but without the rotting :) I wonder what would happen if she lost her head?
Methos as The Immortal was also a good touch, it explains where he spends a lot of his time.
So thanks for a great story with believable characters that were true to the original shows.

Wow, you really did leave this open ended. I hope some day that you'll fill in the blanks between the last chapter and the epilogue. Oh, and you do know that every story you wright is a very acquired taste, don't you? And most of them are for different tastes. I still don't know how you do that. Read all in one go. An incredibly fascinating tale. The plot waned it seemed at times but you found ways to keep it moving again without trying to rehash everything that had already happened. This was an enjoyable read for me and I am now off to read the next part.

Found this story because of the 2006 CoA awards. Interesting ideas, well put together and presented. Characters more in than out of canon. Too many of the individual scenes were noteworthy to mention, and I would not hesitate to recommend this story to anyone.

The one scene that stood out for me, and what keeps this rating from being a 10, is Buffy rallying the immortal troops. Even with her new presence along with the Watcher journals, the ease and speed with which she convinced them to go along with her was not believable. In a different fic it might have worked, but this one was otherwise very tight to canon and continually presented a 'realistic' worldview. In this AU the scene just doesn't work.

I am in total awe. This story has just been launched to the top of my crossover favourties. You have a really distinctive story telling voice, and it just brought this to life. The cross worked perfectly, and I was almost in tears near the end. I'm kind of glad that Buffy ended up with Angel in the end, but sad that she couldn't be with Spike. I always knew she'd be sort of ok living forever, she'd have Angel and Spike, but it's even better to know that Dawn, Faith and the others are with her, too. This is one story I would absolutely go back and read again, I loved it.
