Review of chapter "XIX and Epilogue" from Gideon
Review:
Well I didn't see Illyria popping up there but she provided a few cool scenes where I think you used her well. Congratulations on a well structured and involving story.
Comments from author:
The funny thing about that is that it won the COA award for best Illyria story with more than twice as many votes as its competitors - then when I belatedly realised that it wasn't eligible because she wasn't in most of the chapters they had to withdraw it...

Review:
Great story. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and particularly liked that last scene.
Comments from author:
Yes, people do seem to enjoy that bit - of course the next scene might be wild tentacle porn, rather than Anubis being torn to bits, but I'll leave that to the reader's imagination...

Review:
yea great story way to get Anubis what he deseavered.
Comments from author:
I really doubt Illyria would have much time for fake gods. Ditto Glory, which is a crossover I really ought to write some time.

Review of chapter "XIX and Epilogue" from banner
Review:
I enjoyed this story tremendously. I love it when intelligent people act in a mature, intelligent fashion. The plot lines were complex, the interactions were fun and in-character, and you kept the different 'verses essentially true to canon. Illyria was SO very IC. Every scene shift followed logically, with no disorienting gaps and perfectly adequate explanation.
The climax and the epilogue were very satisfying.
Thank you.
Comments from author:
Thanks - I can't help thinking it lost coherence a little towards the end, but the reaction has generally been good so maybe I'm too harsh a critic of my own work.

Review of chapter "XIX and Epilogue" from (Past Donor)James
Review:
Loved this fic and I am glad I didn't start to read it until it was finished.

I know that you say that you have no sequal planned, but are reserving the right. However, instead of something major, it could be a nice little exchange between Illy and Cordy about the Ori upstarts...

Don't know, not feeling well enough to think straight.

Loved the story.

Thanks for writing it.

Review:
Lovely ending. Poor Anubis. hah! no can't say that with a straight face.
Comments from author:
Well yeah - it had to be him or Baal, and I thought, why settle for the lesser evil...

Review of chapter "XIX and Epilogue" from RevDorothyL
Review:
What a perfect ending for Anubis! And I love the idea that both Cordy and Illyria found work that's rewarding and satisfying for them, at least enough to keep them happily occupied for the next few thousand years.
Comments from author:
The false-god slapping thing is more of an amusing hobby than serious work for Illyria. Of course one of the reasons why the Ancients helped her to ascend is that the Ori will be turning up soon, and they will REALLY piss her off...

Review:
This is like a good book, that you cannot put it down until the end. Nice resolution. I really like Illyria's solution, about being insulted by a wannabe. The muck need to know their place.

You have a possible Dawn centred follow up, perhaps with only Oma from Stargate.
Comments from author:
I'm not currently planning a sequel, but I'm not ruling it out completely.

Well its been a long haul but you got there in the end. I think it was worth the wait.

Great ending.

All the best,

Comments from author:
Glad you enjoyed it - must admit that when I started I had a rather different ending in mind, but I think this worked pretty well.

Review:
Awesome story! Still, I'm glad I waited until it was finished before I read it ;)

All the little details on the bus, plus Mr. Gordo and the pill bottle? Completely awesome.

YMCA and the skeleton mob? Very funny.

Nice to have Ethan introduce them to the supernatural. He's very in control of his powers, even if he is unstable ;)

Good luck to Henderson and Ms. Ash :)

Very nice post-Chosen AU. You managed to carry how stable things are and how well everyone's doing, while revealing very few details.

The story doesn't need a direct sequel, probably best if the future's left open, but a flashback to the lives of Shala and Dagon and how they set up the Orders would be awesome. Even if it's just Daniel or Dawn sitting back in a darkened room, thinking about their research :)

Um, why was Illyria's face a 'caricature' before she entered the ship? Was it some kind of cloaking spell?
Comments from author:
I don't think I plan to write any more in this setting, but I reserve the right to change my mind...

I was thinking of the face thing as Illyria in transition from a disguise that she's held for several weeks to her normal form.
