Review of chapter "XIX and Epilogue" from Selonianth
Review:
Hn, ya know, if Illyria unlocked Daniel's memories then he should've instantly known A. Who she is. B. That the Ascended ARE the Powers. Does that mean she didn't finish because Oma De'Sala stopped her, or she did finish and you forgot a few bits?

Reply: ... I don't think Illyria would give a rats ass, so unless you're saying Oma re-sealed his memories the moment she reappeared you forgot a fair bit of stuff.
Comments from author:
I don't think she let him keep the memories for long.

Review of chapter "The Key to Byzantium" from (Current Donor)Starfox
Review:
Nice story, blending SG and Buffy easily, and adding lots of well thought out touches, such as the charm school - and tieing up a few ends from the shows. I liked the cameos as well, and the way minor characters got their spotlight.
Comments from author:
Thanks - I had a lot of fun with this one.

Review of chapter "XIX and Epilogue" from Cardona
Review:
Here, I'm making my rounds to classic stories which had never made a comment ......
Congratulations ...
Very good job ....
The story remains as compelling now as when it was originally written.
I liked how the two (three, if you count Angel) universes came together in perfect synchrony.
Congratulations.

Werner Markus (aka) Mr. Cardona

(Here, in a very (quietly) standing ovation)
Comments from author:
Thanks - I think I'd probably change a few things if I was writing it today, but it works reasonably well.

Review of chapter "XIX and Epilogue" from MarcusSLazarus
Review:
The idea of the SGC discovering the Knights of Byzantium is so simple I’m surprised more people haven’t done something like that, and while I felt that the transition to Russia and then the encounter with Illyria was a BIT hard to completely follow, the conclusion as Illyria launched a kamikaze attack on Wolfram & Hart with Goa’uld technology was certainly original.
Comments from author:
Sorry if I didn't make anything clear; I should have maybe gone the other way with that part and used USAF resources rather than magic to get to Russia, but I really wanted to do something with Pylea and that was a good chance.

Glad you liked the end result!

Review of chapter "IV" from leelaa
Review:
"Is that a threat?"
"I don't think you were born stupid. Of course it's a threat. But not from me. You're headed into a whole world of hurt, and it's one that you're not ready to handle."
~
'Of course it's a threat.' Good one.
Comments from author:
Glad you're continuing to enjoy it.

"Relax," said Sam, "Replicators reproduce exponentially, they'd have already eaten half the world if one was loose in California three years ago. I doubt we'd have missed that."
"I shall consider myself reassured," said Teal'c.

LOL. Loving this so far. Thanks for writing this fic.

Review of chapter "III" from lucyferr
Review:
enjoying the forensicky perspective
Comments from author:
One of the stories I have on the back burner is a Bones crossover in which they're trying to identify all of Glory's victims - and of course the ones that Buffy killed too.

Review of chapter "XIX and Epilogue" from Gideon
Review:
Well I didn't see Illyria popping up there but she provided a few cool scenes where I think you used her well. Congratulations on a well structured and involving story.
Comments from author:
The funny thing about that is that it won the COA award for best Illyria story with more than twice as many votes as its competitors - then when I belatedly realised that it wasn't eligible because she wasn't in most of the chapters they had to withdraw it...

Review of chapter "XIX and Epilogue" from RockyWilliams
Review:
Great story. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and particularly liked that last scene.
Comments from author:
Yes, people do seem to enjoy that bit - of course the next scene might be wild tentacle porn, rather than Anubis being torn to bits, but I'll leave that to the reader's imagination...

Review:
yea great story way to get Anubis what he deseavered.
Comments from author:
I really doubt Illyria would have much time for fake gods. Ditto Glory, which is a crossover I really ought to write some time.
