I have just starting reading the Southern Vampire series and I find this story to follow the spirit of the books faithfully. I especially love the fact that Sookie can not read Giles' thoughts. The fact of Buffy having relatives that are as unusual as her is perfect. I hope you continue this story because I would love to Buffy, Giles and Dawn's reaction to Bubba and Eric's appearance. I would especially enjoy Giles seeing Bubba for the first time.

I can't imagine why there are no reviews for this yet -- you're doing a wonderful job of presenting an interesting and mostly humorous story in a truly unique style. I love the way you are making the "word a day" an intrinsic part of the plot, and unlike many of those type of conceits, you've got a real story to tell. I'll be looking forward to the future chapters.

Well, congratulations on being the first review! I'm glad you are enjoying it. I've been enjoying using it as a writing warm-up before working on my longer stories, and my beta was having fun with it too, but I wasn't sure if people were actually enjoying the posts since the format is a bit odd.
