Your Wes and Illyria characterizations are impeccable. It's obvious how much effort you've put into this tightly-woven piece. This has the right flavor for a LoTR crossover, for sure. This is part of my Very Most Favorite of all the series that you've written.

What an interesting take on crossing over the two worlds. It raises all sorts of questions, which is a good thing.

I loved the story... Especially liked how you kept a lot of it vague. You had the elvish language and the ring, but didn't let Wesley understand it. But since we, the readers know very well what the ring is, the stoy still workeed. and worked well. Good characterisation of Wesley and Illyria. And an original story idea.

Now this story was just nifty. I thought it was a perfect blending of the Buffyverse and the LotR's Middle Earth. And it left a whole lot of questions in my mind. Lol!
