Review:
I kept wondering why the vamps bothered with house "deconstruction".

Simpler and easier to just toss a Molotov cocktail or two into the house and let them choose between leaving it and facing the horde or burning.

Interesting idea, I had often thought about why the Vamps never ganged up on Buffy and tearing her house down seemed like a good way to get around the invite thing. Don't know anything about JAG, I dislike cop/lawyer shows, think the last one I watched was Adam-12 from the sixties. I like your writing, easy to read without $5 words, it's down to Earth and flows neatly.
Thanks for writing and posting, going to read the rest of the series.

This was a lot of fun to read. I would like to say something clever, but I don't have anything and thats one of the reasons you are the writer.

Very good.
Would a sequal be possible?
Comments from author:
There is, in fact... my epic 'Lady Liberty' picks up from here.

Great crossover! This is the first JAG/Buffy crossover I've read and it's good!
Comments from author:
Thank you! Yes, there aren't many... when this was posted on TTH, it was the only one. (There's another one now, but it's sort of "cheesy" in my opinion... the two groups of characters watching the opposite TV shows, which works because they used to be on at the same time sometimes.)

Any plans to move on into my other works?

Review:
nice. I was initially hesitant to read this, on account of having absolutely no familiarity with JAG at all. While it might have given some things a bit more impact, I was pleased to see that I could follow the story nicely, despite not knowing the JAG background.

For Harmony Kendall, that was a surprisingly good plan. And I find myself wondering what exactly is going to happen with the further trouble caused by Lauren Singer. Maybe she'll show up later in Lady Liberty (modern setting)....

I had planned to do another Buffy/JAG story - seperately from Lady Liberty - but it hasn't happened yet. (I started one but the muse fell flat... it was going to involve the SoCal wildfires being caused by demons with flammable blood vs. Marines....)

As for Singer... well, she just seemed so delightfully evil, out of all the shows I watch she seemed the most likely to not change much as a vamp. ;)

This was an amazing story and I'm glad I finally got around to reading it. Originally, I was a little sketchy because I'm not to knowledgeable with the JAG universe, but you still managed to create a very interesting universe for the reader to get lost in. There are many wonderful points that I could sit here and list, but I think I'll narrow it down to only a few: the relationship you created between Buffy/Harm was probably one of my favorite parts of the fic. You made it interesting for us, and gave it a realistic ending given the circumstances. It was also very original that you left the villains alive. It was refreshing to see a fic where everything did not simply tidy up into a little box at the end.

Anyway, thank you very much for this wonderful fic. I'm off to read the Lady Liberty series now, and looking forward to it.

Thanks! Yah, I thought it would be interestingly different (and easier to reconcile with the series, too) to leave the villains (esp. Harmony) alive. Interestingly, the JAG series folks killed Singer off about ten episodes after I wrote this...

This is a great story so far! I say so far because I've only read part the way through (I started reading it through a break in my writing and I won't be able to read the rest of it tonight.). I'm really enjoying it and I'm looking reading the rest of it. Just thought I'd post a review now before I forget! *g*

Wonderful! I love the way you dealt with Singer... although I wish she would have been dusted. LOL (can you tell I don't like that character *wink*) I hope there might be a sequel in the works for this. Maybe continuing a bit more into the Harm/Buffy relationship.
Comments from author:
I didn't like Singer either (and I laughed - LAUGHED - when they killed her off and nobody noticed for months.) But hey, there's got to be room for a potential sequel.... (although there is one, focusing on Buffy after being dumped by Harm having odd dreams, it's Lady Liberty #1.)
