Not sure what that means exactly, but it was the first thing that came to mind after finishing the story. Bonus points for sticking it to the PTB, and even more for recruiting Marcie.
Out of curiousity, was Xander's extra spirit a way of leaving the door open for recruiting someone else to the pack? Or just a way of giving him that little extra to be the Alpha?

Thanks for reviewing and commenting. Glad you enjoyed it.
The extra spirit was primarily to give the oomph necessary to be Alpha.
An excellent penultimate chapter. I love that you gave Angel a good ending. Though Xander is my favorite character, I like Angel as well (which is an apparently unusual combination.) Though, to be honest, I think it would have been better if he hadn't realized that it was his redemption until *after* he threw himself in front of Willow. That way, it would have been clear that he was doing it because it was the right thing to do, and not just because it was an easy out.

I thought the way that I portrayed it showed that Angel only realized that his redemption was at hand *after* he decided to sacrifice himself to save Willow, the realization hitting him at the same moment he made his choice. In any event, he did make that choice and did save her, which is what really matters.

Before I continue reading, I want to stop here and thank you, a lot, for writing a decent, Xander-centered story, without making Angel out to be some sort of terrible person. Bravo.

Thanks for the review. And I wanted to show that Angel did have *some* qualities - he just didn't let them show very much.
