Review of chapter "LAst Chapter" from Kindleflame
How come you never answered my question? Were you mad or something? You responded to other readers questions most of the time. I don't think my question was to difficult. What type of writer are you if you blow off readers who take the time to review? Not a very good one in my opinion.

Wonderful story! You have talent in spades! I had one question if you kindly have the time. Did Batman and his friends ever learn the true identities of the Scobbies and vice versa? I was most curious about that. Please let me know if you can. Thanks and take care. :D

very good story. Love it .

Only one thing though. When Angel told Buffy LA was his city Buffy backed off not because he told her that but because she was hurt and had enough of everything. So she left him with LA he wanted it so he could get it and be happy with it.

The Slayer isn't bounded to one city. All the other Slayers before Buffy traveled around the world they have to protect the whole world. Because Buffy had family and friends she protected the Hellmouth and because of the prophecies of course. Kendra traveled all around the world and Faith started in Boston before she ran away to Sunnydale.

Batman claimed this city and doing a good job why argue if he is doing a good job protecting it. Saves them a lot of work. When necessary the new Council will do anything to prevent harm even when batman won't cooperate but how they handle it now that won't be necessary.

Glad you wrote this story it is really good. Thank you for sharing.

A bit confused about where the twist of Buffy owning a hotel in Gotham came into play, and you could space your paragraphs out more- they’re a bit hard to read crammed together like they are in some chapters-, but the Tim/Dawn idea has definitely potential, and the finale with the enjoining spell using Buffy, Angel AND Batman as the ‘Hands’ was DEFINITELY an interesting concept (To say nothing of the alliance between Two-Face and Ethan; might have been brief, but it had potential as a concept if nothing else).

This is awesome! I really love it! It does have a lot of grammatical and sentence structure mistakes, but it is a great story.

Well Ethan will certainly liven things up as well as Ripper. Personally I hope Ripper kicks batman's ass for being such a damned control freak and asshole. Buffy and company have been way to nice and patient with him and the bat clan. Their supeior bullshit attitudes is going to get someone hurt or killed. Seriously the bats a criminal as much as Faith ever was. He just hides better and does not own it. Anyway well done more when you can.

This is a very interesting story, but I have to say that I am disappointed with the way that you are treating the Buffy characters. I can see giving Batman respect in "his" city, but since the world/universe is in the protection of the slayers/watchers council the city is "theirs" as well. They just choose not to heavily operate within it. If for some odd reason the Council chose to go to war with the "Bat clan" the city's vigilantes would be wiped out pretty quick. Also, the Council/Slayers have been keeping the world/dimension safe for thousand and thousands of years, yet he keeps treating them like upstarts with potential.
The concept that slayer strength wanes and waxes depending on their current exposure to the supernatural is very creative and makes a lot of sense. It allows you a lot of leeway within your writing. I do hope though that Batman and Co. get a chance to see the slayers in a real fight. When they are all out against the forces of evil, no matter how skilled Batman and Co. may be, they could never hope to match a slayer. A slayer can take a lot of damage so there is very little they could do in a hand to hand combat fight that would actually leave a dent in a slayer. This is canon as slayers are hit by vampires (who supposedly have similar strength) yet never seem to break any bones despite the fact that getting hit by a normal human male is often more than enough to shatter a jaw in real life. Yet a slayer would only need to land a single punch or kick to kill her opponent if she so chose. The force required to punch someone and throw them 30ft (as Buffy did to Riley during their sparring match, yet she claimed that she was still holding back) is actually more than enough to shatter human bone. Even with kevlar, it would still break bones under the vest. All kevlar does is distribute force. Being shot while wearing a kevlar vest can still crack/break ribs. A slayer punch would have even more force since it has significantly more mass. Not to mention, that it would probably be enough force to pop the lungs. (Which is actually how many soldiers have died when attacked by IEDs. The force is enough to pop their lungs even without doing any physical trauma to the outside of the body.) And this is all assuming a body attack. A blow to the head would shatter the skull at impact. Buffy and Co. have saved not only the world, but all dimensions and realities. Whether the Bat people realize it or not, the Scoobys have indirectly saved their lives repeatedly and paid ridiculously heavy prices for doing so. Batman lost Robin, I feel bad, but the Scoobys/AI have lost Anya, Cordelia, Buffy & Spike (even though they came back), Fred, Doyle, a ton of high school classmates, and the list goes on with most of these deaths happening while the Scoobies were barely more than kids. Buffy's had to kill/sacrifice her own people to keep the world safe. Batman has been going for a long time, but that doesn't mean that the Scoobys haven't racked up more than enough experience to gain his respect.
I really hope that you don't take this as a flame but as critique. Your concept is very interesting and some of your explanations very original. I just really hope that at the end of this, even if he doesn't say anything, you give us a peek into Batman's thoughts where he actually respects them and acknowledges, even if only to himself, that they are professional good guys. And if he realizes how strong they actually are that he acknowledges that they show incredible control since it would be so easy for them to be killing regular humans by the droves completely on accident.
Comments from author:
Flames amuse me and allow me to think creativly actually so no worries there.
As for the respect thing, or rather the lack of it, well this is Batman and he is a jerk but most of the time. He's mainly testing the scoobs looking for strengths and weaknesses in them that he can use. Batman once had plans that disabled the entire League a lineup that had Superman, Wonder Woman, Plastic Man, Aqua Man Green Lantern(Kyle Rayner version), Martian Man Hunter, and the Flash. Besides one of Batman's greatest strengths is his ability to lie to people and calling them idiots while respecting them. Besides Batman doesn't know their history just bits and pieces and the fact that they destroy things. The Scoobs have done nothing that he's aware of. The scoobies are pretty much having their coming out party here and have never really been in the public eye like this. Iron Man would probably do the same thing though he would want to sleep with Faith while he was at it. The Slayer strength idea came to me from watching Angel and I saw Dana (Crazy Slayer) tear down a solid steal door. I can't recall Faith showing that much power ever and Buffy only showed that much raw power a handful of times and don't forget regular humans have knocked her out before as well. As for seeing what Slayers can do trust me that's in the next chapter we have some major ass kicking and several major spells going to be there should be interesting when i finish writing it.
