Interesting idea though it seems to follow the same basic problem alot of Buffy/Marvel fics do, in that humans are 'protected'. Even if they act worse then demons and vampires like this orginzation that experiments and captures mutants, humans and anyone that spikes their interest like animals.. and they get off easy. Can't just kill them, Xmen and such will fight to the death protect a human from a rogue mutant.. but strangely soft and non existent when it comes to protecting mutants from experimental research and inhumane treatment.

I mean come on a mutant rampages in some third world country Xavier knows.. some long lasting mutant experimentation lab runs for years without anyone catching on unless an Xmen themself is captured. Also disapionted Xander didn't just kill guards durring his escape attempt, he used all non lethal moves.

Read War X and you'll see by the first half that humans aren't protected in this series and never were.

As for Xander using non lethal moves, he thought he could still be that kind of man when he escaped, but later learned that was just a pipe dream.

Love both the idea and the story. Keep up the good work.

I've always appreciated the well dramatized angst and plotting of this story, although you ended up with more than average of "sound-a-like" words in this chapter. I'm happy to see the plot moving forward and Xander showing his heart and his strategy skills.

The word you were looking for is homophones I believe. Sorry that there were more of them. I've been right clicking to check for synonyms to make sure that doesn't happen with words I'm unsure of, but as you pointed out it isn't a foolproof system.

As fot the plot moving forward, the plot as moved as far as its going to go in this story. This was the last part. Don't worry too much, I plan to do at least one sequal in the future.

Finally things are looking up. I'm guessing the other site is Alkili lake. I couldn't indentify all of the mutants in the last chapter. I managed to spot Angelo aka Skin, Sabertooth (what was he doing there by the way, since you seem to be going with the movie verse) and what might be Polaris. I can't help feeling that there's something kinda ironic about the mutants being led by a straightgene. I guess Xander is going to be seriously connected from now on.

You guessed right, the other sight is Alkili Lake. As fot what Sabertooth was doing there you had to read the prequal comics that Marvel put out when X2 was reliced. It showed that Sabertooth was suffering from the same deal as Wolveriene, down to the dogtags. They were both captured by weapon X with only Wolveriene escaping. It also mentioned in passing that they tried to give him an adamantium skeliton, but it didn't work. I figured sense it didn't work they would send him to sight Beta for more extencive testing.

As for Xander being human, that was never established one way or another, but it will be in the sequal.

After what he did with the guards that is a safe bet. Even after that guy is healed he will still be pissed about the incident with the knife.
