Waaw, this was one of the nicest stories I've read, I totally got caught up in. Very beautifully written and the characters were just awesome, entirely authentic! Great piece.

That was sweet and a tear jerker. I thought you portrayed Giles excellently. Andrew was adorable. Great story. I am going to recommend it to my fanfic living mother. :-)

This was really enjoyable. Thanks for making it just about the characters and not a hollow device to transport the Scoobies to Hogwarts. (Not that those aren't fun, too...)

Interesting concept... I would like to see more of this 'verse... how much does Giles know really? And how will Harry having met Giles affect his decisions in the upcoming war?

This is an Awesome Story! The premise of muggle attacks was pretty weak, but I suppose that DE's could have imperioed locals to harass Harry after discovering that wizards couldn't get past the wards... At any rate, this is a great idea, and I really hope that you choose to continue it! I'd love to see the advice in the Slayer's Handbook and how Harry implements it. I really want to see further interaction between Harry and Giles, and hopefully, the Scoobies and a few more slayers as well. Boy wouldn't THAT be a surprise for the DE's! Thanks for that story, and I hope to see more in the series!

A well written piece. The initial method of meeting is of course a bit strange for Death Eaters but the way the story unfolds and is written more than makes up for it.

Brilliant! I somehow missed this one, and just stumbled across it when I saw the new link to the 'top fic by character' page. An amazing story that is completely engrossing even with no 'action', just pure character development. An excellent look at the lives of Harry & Giles when they're not on the front lines!
Now I'm not sure whether to join the cries for a sequel, or to say that this is perfect unadorned and unaccompanied; a snapshot of two lives as they pass in the night... Bravo and marvellously well done!
