Well done. It might have taken two years to finish, but you did very good work. I hope your schedule and muse will allow you to write and post more chapters on more stories sometime soon. Keep up the good work. Zafaran {mailto:} zafaran {at} fastmail {dot} fm

Wow I can't believe you finished it! This is just such a fantastic story and the reason that Willow/Sam is my absolute favourite crossover pairing. Congratulations on getting all the way to the end of such a long and impressive fanfic. Hope to read more in the future, Kezz....x.x.x

I can't believe I finished it, either, to be honest. LoL. Glad that this story got you to like Willow/Sam, though. They remain, to this day, one of my favorite pairings.

I've just finished re-reading the whole thing from the beginning. This is definitely the best of the "When I Woke Up..." fics. You have a good handle on the voices of all the characters from both shows. It was a pleasure to re-read, from beginning to end.

Wow. Thanks, Don. Praise from you is rare, so it actually means something to get it. (Serious here, not sarcastic.) I actually felt that I flubbed a bit on characterization with those last 3 chapters, probably b/c I'm out of practice with West Wing entirely, not to mention I don't really write Willow so much anymore. I'm glad that it wasn't too noticeable and didn't detract from the overall story. Thanks again.

I think you're doing a good job with Sam, and you're interpretation of Willow is good...save one thing...I really feel like Willow would be a politically minded type, I think she'd know who Sam was...but hey I'm a wiccan, Politics nut, so that maybe me mushing my opinions onto Willow...
I almost didn't read this - the pairing just sounded too strange. But the story does work in an incredible good way. I read all 36 chapters in one sitting. You have a very good grasp on dialogue.

That was a wonderful story. You realy captured Angel. And not just like the stereotypical brooder. His reactions and his thoughts were perfect for someone who has lived for a long time and given up on a lot of the hopes and dreams he might have once had.
And I liked how you build up the scene with Sam sneaking up on Willow and Angel making sure she tell him how she feels. Thanks for another wonderful chapter (or ficlet) really enjoying this series.
