Cool ozfic. Who is Penance? I stopped reading x-books a few years ago...

Penance is from the Generation-X series. And no one really knows who she is at all. She doesn't speak, no telepaths can reach her mind and she doesn't know how to read or write. She was being used as a source of marrow by Emplate, but she was rescued by Gateway and dumped on the Frost Institute. She became a member of Generation-X, sort of. And then there was the whole mess with the St Croix twins, and Monet, and geez...it's complicated. She got on really well with Chamber and Skin.
