Again, I am astounded that I didn't review this great story the first time I read it, but hopefully you'll forgive me, b/c I really do appreciate this. I love the luck spell, as well as the aftermath "guess they had their war"... then, sadly the potential now a slayer escaped. Now, on to rereading the rest. I've occasionally reread old 'favorites' and for whatever reason, not made it all the way through. This, however, is just that good that the twists and the characters hold my attention.

WOW! Just discovered this. Don't know how I missed it because I'd read the other 3 stories. Great job integrating Faith & Willow into the CSI world. I love how you handled the CSI group's reactions to their past stories. LOVED the epilogue. Nice twist with Patricia's escape. :)

There are a few more short stories, including another encounter with Patricia.

couldn't help notice your "I'm British, so is my spelling" slogan... i may American but i spent over four years living in the Netherlands and seven years in the middle east were english is british english not american english. it is nice to see things spelled correctly :) for a change...

ps i get yelled at at my college for spelling all the time.

Another great story :) Too bad there aren't more of these longer ones, short stories feel never as satisfying to me...

I like this characterization of Faith and the possibilities about other Potentials have major issues. It's always seemed to me like the Slayers couldn't be all perfect, especially if they had the WC fucking with their heads.

I've never actually watched CSI, but I used to watch documentaries about forensics, etc. If CSI the show is as interesting as you've portrayed it, I'm going to have to look it up and watch it.

I've been reading your whole series, and I gotta say that they are very enjoyable. I love CSI and Buffy, and you do a great job of combining the two. One little problem, however. In "Potential Problem," you have Faith talk about her first watcher taking her out to stake a vampire before she is actually called to be the Slayer. You refer to the watcher as a he, but in the episode "Faith, Hope and Trick," she specifically refers to her original watcher as a she. Just a little heads up for you.

If I get any complaints about not posting the next part of TKW:HW tomorrow, I'm referring them to you. It's all your fault, 'cause I just spent the evening reading your B:TVS/CSI stories. I'm looking forward to the future stories I hope you're still planning to write.
