Review of chapter "Chapter 43: One Small Step..." from (Past Donor)TemariGrace
Review:
I really like this story. I stayed up until 1AM last night reading it but only got half way through. So first thing this morning I got back to it.

I like the POV style. I have written a couple of stories in that style my self. You did a good job. It is not alway easy to switch personalities while you are writing POV's.

You mentioned in your notes that you got some comments that the story was moving too slowly. I think that was a perception due to posting. Reading in one sitting (or two), I found it to move along nicely. It held my interest and I can not read anything I am not interested in.

I would have rated this story a 10 except for the ending. You are right it was abrupt and I have the same feeling I get when I have read a story abandoned by an author. I wish you had gone through Jim and Blair's thoughts on the first mission, just a little, and had them come back with a hopeful and determined to make it work attitude. It would have given me a better feeling about the end.

Anyway, it was a good story, well written and enjoyable to read. I will defiantly read more of your stories.

Thanks for sharing.

Well done, if not a little more introspective than I normally read.

Review of chapter "Chapter 43: One Small Step..." from RevDorothyL
Review:
This is the first Sentinel/SG-1 crossover fic I've read (well, not counting the Sentinel/BtVS crossover fic whose sequels were essentially BtVS/SG-1 crossovers) and I was fascinated by how well the two mythologies meshed together. I enjoyed the depth and time you took to examine the difficulties and personal concerns of each member of this new "blended" family. Thanks for posting.

Besides, I've always wanted to drop in and visit with Jim and Blair and be assured that there really is life for both of them entirely apart from academia. Thanks for giving me the chance to be a fly on their wall for a brief spell.

I actually find the build up far more interesting. After all, an inordinate number of crossovers seem to gloss over it, or ignore it entirely. I like that you didn't skip straight from A to Z, but instead hit every letter on the way. Very well done.

I don't think your version Blair and Jim going through the 'gate would have necessarily been redundant, but then, I like your take on things. Still, this was a good place to end the story. Anyway, thanks for the great read!

Review of chapter "Chapter 41: Sentinel and Guide" from (Moderator)KaylaShay
Review:
This is my 100th review posted on TTH!

I realized that even though I've been faithfully reading your great story, I hadn't review since March of '05 which means I was long overdue for a review.

I still love the character interpretation with each chapter. I think you capture each of the individual personalities in a great way. I'm also glad that you move slowly with the story. Sometimes it's nice to get really absorbed into what is happening instead of flying through.

As for the chapter you said you had trouble with, I didn't really feel that it was out of place with the rest of the story. It could have just been that it was the first time we had seen Hammond after only having Daniel, Jim, Blair and Jack for most of the rest of the story.

It should be intriguing to see how Jim adapts his senses to the new environment, especially his first time through the gate. That should make everything go wonky.

Have you given any thought into Jim and Blair's connection to the Incan (it was Incan right?) background and the fact that the Go' uld impersonated the Egyptian pantheon? Will there be any mystical clashes there? I also await more "brotherly" bonding between Blair and Daniel.

Keep up the nice work! (phweee.... that was a long review...)

Review:
The End? Please, please, please continue! I look forward to reading this fic every Monday. I can't wait to see what's in store for Blair and Jim.
Comments from author:
Nope, not the end... that little THE END? seems to be added by the new script so don't worry, though I WILL miss next Monday's update, sorry about that.

That was great. Jim's thoughts are honest and hopeful, but as perceptive as always.

Review:
Hey, jumping right to putting them in Colorado Springs, eh? Okay. *shaking my head at the temporary living arrangements* Poor Jim! Forget his territorial instincts as a Sentinel, he is facing being in the same house with two geeks in full out geek mode and if memory serves he's usually run from that too. Poor Jim! Makes me just want to hug to big lug and try to make him feel better. *evil chuckle*

Review of chapter "Chapter 36: Burning Bridges" from Duchess
Review:
No, it's not burning bridges, they can go back some day... can't they? When they're old enough to retire, IF they live long enough to get that old. *chuckle*

I feel sad for Blair, realizing he's actually leaving family behind. It's not necessarily the place he'll miss, but all the people he's come to know and care for. I say Simon needs to come see them on his next vacation and get initiated into the "I know a WHOPPER of a secret" club, kinda like Pete did in canon. What do you say? I want them to be able to talk to him and for him to really know what's going on, so he won't feel deserted or betrayed. *pout* Please? *hopeful look*

Review of chapter "Chapter 34: We *REALLY* Need a Better Cover Story" from Duchess
Review:
This is fantastically funny and I'm loving it! You started out just a tad too introspective and went in circles with it at that, but you've gotten so much better with it I'm in a hurry for more chapters. *vbg*

Whose point of view do we get next? *hopeful look*
