You know, I never read this one shot, and I rather like it. But I can tell you either didn't watch the full length version (which I have on DVD), or you just decided to ignore the deleted scenes. Otherwise you'd have found a way around the fact that Geoff was married. Something that none of the cast knows until they've returned to London, but before Will gets arrested. His wife, Phillippa, makes an appearance near the end of the movie in the Editor's Cut. This is a really sweet short fic, though.

If you had read the author's notes at the beginning of the story, you would know that I was very aware of the wife. :)

Oh on a historical note, didn't the Black Prince Edward marry a lady by the name of Joan? Just like the name Buffy chose in Tabula Rosa, so please consider coming out of retirement and writing a quick snippet about Buffy and Edward, I would be thrilled. If I remember my history correctly, and I'd better since I have a History degree, Edward and Joan were supposed to be passionately in love with each other. He died in his early forties and never attained the throne leaving his father quite besides himself. Just a quick plea for a follow up with Buffy/Joan meeting Edward after Dawn and Geoff take Buffy back to meet everyone for a nice visit.
