AHAHAHAHAHAHA I want to see the assignment that X and Xander would be forced to work together for! It would be hilarious! This is an awesome concept. One question though, how does Xander know how to fight (the soldier?) because he isn't great at it in the show. Also why did they pick HIM?

Yes, the soldier is generally considered how he learned, but he could fight in the series, he just couldn't really fight the supernatural... four times the speed and strength and all that.

and they picked him because he was 'Under the Radar' and could be used effectively.
