The price is going to be a doozy, I'm sure. I'm wondering how high the price is going to be, or is D'hoffyn to go easy on her so that he might 'seduce' her in becoming a Vengeance Demon and working for him.

D'Hoffryn's definitely trying to get her all signed up as one of his girls - he admires her drive, determination and thirst for vengeance. After all, someone has to fill Anya's place...

So, no way he's gonna mess around with that wish. Mind you, it's not like Veronica gave him any wiggle room. *grins*

Still love this one. It is fitting - her punishment. As I said, she reminds me quite a bit of Talia from Lackey's Arrows of the Queen series here. It is a good bit of justice - true justice. I have to wonder what D'Hoffryn thinks of that. True, there will a lot of suffering produced. But it is not exactly along the normal lines of vengeance demon work. :)

Well, Veronica had been doing her homework on D'Hoffryn way back before she first summoned him - so she knew exactly how to phrase it to leave no room for ambiguity or harm other people.
