Oh, man, I love this! Your Wallace is great, and yes, life with Veronica has definitely taught him how to handle someone like Faith, even if it hasn't quite taught him how to handle demons and vampires. I particularly like that he manages to handle himself without going OOC or turning into a Gary Stu. He's just him and he just does what he needs to, and it works. Great job!

This was fun. There was enough plot to be interesting, and you captured Wallace (or what I imagine Wallace would be like in that situation) really well. Is this a one-shot, or will you play with this some more?

Thanks! I like Wallace a lot, he is the VM character I identify with the most.
This is a stand-alone story, but I might write a sequel -- I did give myself an in to do that, what with the card Faith gave Wallace.

Heehee. A Wallace-centric fic. How fun! Great job on the story. My favorite set of lines is when Wallace recognizes the "you're about to be bait/distraction" look Faith gives him. Are you planning a sequal or was this a one-shot?

I've thought about continuing to play with this storyline, but I'm not sure. I gave myself an in if I do choose to -- that was deliberate, with Faith leaving a card for Wallace. So if I do add something, it will use that. It would be a separate story, however. This one is done for.
