Review of chapter "Decisions - Part Three" from Grovtech
Review:
Perhaps a little over the top in a place or two, but I enjoyed this story. I did wonder why Jack did immediately order a field trip to talk to the inventor, a Mr. Harris.

Review:
Would be interesting if Carter and Xander hit it off on an intellectual basis leading to further explorations and intimacy. So if it turned out she was capable and talented in the use of the force, what would their lovemaking be like? (no not forceful). I was thinking extremely over the top intimacy and orgasmic feedback.

"or should that be lapsed werewolf," How about "werewolf in remission"?

Like this medical definition:
Remission:
a. a temporary or permanent decrease or subsidence of manifestations of a disease.
b. a period during which such a decrease or subsidence occurs: The patient's leukemia was in remission.

Review of chapter "Gambits - Part Four" from DieselDriver
Review:
Soooo... What would have happened if Giles had Buffy throw the gem as far out into the port waters as she could? Yeah, I know that wouldn't have worked to the advantage of getting Oz his gem but What happens to vampires under water? What about the other demons and would they then fight over it, whoever survived the drowning? Perhaps till there was only one left, who got eaten by that lone demon shark who carried the jewel off into the depths of the ocean in it's stomach?

"Buffy looked as if she had sucked on a lemon."

Yes, Buffy is being a sourpuss. LOL I remember my grandmother using that term on us kids way back... And it had nothing to do with alum and the nether parts of a woman's body.

Review of chapter "Tricks And Traps - Part Two" from DieselDriver
Review:
"Xander therefore knew that the big 16-wheeler"

I've driven all kinds of trucks, some big, some small, but I've never seen one with 16 wheels. 18 wheels yes, 16 no. Think about it. The steering wheels are twins all the rest are duals. Usually 4 axles of duals and the steering wheels that support the front of the truck. 4 wheels on each of 2 axles under the rear end of the truck and another 4 wheels on each of the 2 axles at the back of the trailer. 18 wheels altogether therefore an 18 wheeler. Starting at the back, 4, 4, 4, 4, 2. Actually a lot of truck drivers don't like to refer to the number of wheels, they prefer to count the axles. So it would be a 5 axle truck&trailer. Some trucks only have a single axle on the back and are only suitable for towing lighter trailers unless they are towing doubles. Then each trailer would have a single axle (still 4 wheels) at front, another at the back. The front trailer shares the single axle on the rear of the truck just as it would if the truck had 2 axles there.

Thought you might like to know.

Review of chapter "Beasts And Burdens - Part One" from DieselDriver
Review:
"The sewers were quite extensive in Sunnydale. Too extensive. Too many manholes. He wondered who had designed it. It seemed a little too convenient for the vampire community. He made a mental note to ask Willow to do some digging into it."

Poor Willow, has to go digging into the sewer system, Better hold her nose. Stinky in there. Better yet, Call MARIO!

Happy chuckles when Xander finished his lightsaber. I'm glad you published this. It sure is a fun story. Second time just as good as the first.

Review of chapter "Plumbing The Depths Of LA - Part Three" from DieselDriver
Review:
This: "and as a Jedi it’s my duty to stand into harms way if it means protecting someone. See you later.”

Reminds me of the quote of John Paul Jones:

"I wish to have no connection with any ship that does not sail fast; for I intend to go in harm's way."

Of course with my crappy California schooling I only knew about it from the John Wayne movie depicting a destroyer captain in WW2. Title of "In Harm's Way".

Review of chapter "Wraiths On The Mind - Part One" from DieselDriver
Review:
A question comes to my mind. I've always thought that a brave person was one who is afraid but does what needs to be done anyway in spite of the fear. If, like in Xander's case here, you put aside the fear such that you don't feel it, are you really brave? This leaves out the possibilities of doing the right thing when you don't have time to be afraid like an airliner pilot who's trying to control an out of control plane full of passengers and isn't aware of being afraid, he's had plenty of time to assess the situation and knows what he's doing. Just an F.Y.I. to whoever reads this, I've hear tapes of the last few minutes of an airline pilot's life and they invariably sound completely calm right up to the last possible second when they realize it isn't going to come out ok. Then there's the equivalent of "oh shit" just before it all ends.

Xander's mental situation sounds like one of those to me. Except without the bad ending.

Review of chapter "The Search - Part One" from DieselDriver
Review:
Very chuckle worthy ending for the chapter. Doyle's confused and I can certainly see why. Jedi Harris is a man of very worthy "not ending". I think this is my second time through. I know it's not my first but it was good the second time too and I'm sure I'll read it again.

And so, the decision is made. Oz is going to help teach Lindsey, and they are going to help establish the Jedi Order on Earth. Its going to be rough, but it will make things interesting on earth.

Well, its not often that Lorne tells someone NOT to sing or do anything musical! But I think he gave part of what Xander needed to our Jedi. Lindsey McDonald is a potential Padawan and needs to be recruited and soon!

Review of chapter "Decisions - Part One" from Harry
Review:
Well, Sam is a VERY eager Beaver! She wants to build this right away and doesn't care that Xander says that the military isn't ready for it. Jack is, for once, willing to wait! And there is a reason he is willing to wait. Actually two. 1) As a pilot he knows that when things are right, things blow up. 2) For something like this, you want to make SURE everything is by the book! And that means making sure that it works right and right the first time!
