Review of chapter "Chapter 3- Race Day" from lucyferr
“Well, according to the sample, her midi-chlorian count is eight thousand- and climbing.”

cool, that makes a change. Also liked Buffy's new fear of heights.

Review of chapter "Chapter 2" from lucyferr
Good language by Buffy

I hope that this is a fic where - for once - Shmi gets freedom as well. I love that the other Buffy/Star Wars crossovers I've read have diverged from canon a lot, but why do none of them free Shmi?

Review of chapter "Chapter 8: Across the Stars" from MarcusSLazarus

A bit of an understatement, I admit, but for a one-word summary I think ‘WOW’ works fairly well; you manage to blend the two worlds here together SUPERBLY well, to say the least.

The brother-sister bond between Anakin and Buffy in particular was very intriguing to witness, with Buffy constantly moving to defend Anakin while Anakin enjoys a naturally teasing relationship with Buffy.

Her dynamic with the Jedi in particular was interesting; Anakin might practically venerate them- particularly Qui-Gon-, but Buffy is more willing to tell them what she thinks no matter how much she might come to appreciate them.

Her thoughts on the idea of them wanting Anakin to become their ‘Slayer’ in particular was an interesting point; admittedly, Anakin’s more UNIQUE than the Slayer- there’s always going to be other Slayers but there’s only one ‘Chosen One’ for the Jedi- but the point remained valid.

Plus, of course, you worked in some VERY interesting character development in her fight with Maul; even when faced with a CLEAR temptation to rip his guts out, she refused to resort to those methods after being ‘inspired’ (In a sense) by Faith’s example, vowing to never go that far even as she overcomes her ‘new’ fear of heights.

(Oh, and a nice touch with the podrace, BTW; surprisingly well-written for how little Buffy could really SEE of it from her perspective)

Keep up the good work!

Review of chapter "Chapter 3- Race Day" from TheatricalBarrister
I don't know if you'll even read this review so long after posting this, but I just wanted to say how much appreciate the way you handled the race from Buffy's POV. As exciting as the podrace was the first time I saw it, I dread watching it ever again. I like Star Wars for the lightsabers and the space battles, and wish that the race scene didn't take up so much of the movie. Thanks, again.
Comments from author:
Hey,thanks for the review!

Yeah, I feel the same way. The race scene was actually one of the hardest to write, becuase for the longest time I figured I was going to actually do the race proper. But Buffy's POV was just the perfect thing to get out of it, and it helped that scene go by much faster.

Again, thanks for the review! It'snice ot know some people are still reading these older stories ( and voting for them, too...hint,hint,hint;)

Review of chapter "Chapter 8: Across the Stars" from Lisa
I very much enjoyed this story. I know you have it in a general spot of the site but I can't help but hope we get some sort of Buffy/Ben romance. *grins sweetly*

My one complaint or 'issue' would be Buffy getting knock unconscious too much. I know she's not infallible and she can be killed, as we all know, but seems like she's pulling Giles' with the getting knocked out.

I'll admit I was slightly skeptical about having Willow in the piece but you've written is SO well with here there. She's all witchy and totally gonna go dark-side because it's what she did and that'd make for all sorts of interesting.

Your fight scenes were really well done. I loved the Buffy/Barney/Windex *grins* Her using the force to shatter a lightsaber was a great idea. The whole fear of heights? Killed me in a good way. Her torture? Nicely added and I'm hoping that those nightmares will come back later. A sleep deprived and on the edge Buffy is always enjoyable.

Again, thanks for writing. I'm off to read the next installment.

I have just begun going back to re-read all of your Buffy/Star Wars stories and I just have to say that I love them. You really got the characters down and acting in a way that is true to them dispite the change of setting. Great job.

Review of chapter "Chapter 8: Across the Stars" from Cutiepie
I'm not asking you to confirm nor deny this, but I have this sneeking suspicion that you are going to make truth of the nickname some have made use of: Darth Willow. After all, it is the one that doesn't have sufficient support who will fall, and the Jedi Council has just denyed allowing that support for Willow. Fortunately, it appears that this time around Anakin is getting all the support he needs - a Jedi master and his Big Sister. OK, now I have to throw in my bitty snark: I would have spelled Anakin's nickname as Ani, not Annie (since that is so associated with a certain red-headed orphan). But that one isn't your fault. =] Thank you for the story, and I'm looking forward to the next in the saga.
Comments from author:
I spelled Annie as Annie because, in the novelization, that was how it was spelled, and I took that azs the 'offical' spelling. As for your other comments-

I admit nothing.

Thanks for the review!

Review of chapter "Chapter 8: Across the Stars" from grd
Another excellent chapter. Heartbreaking scene with Dawn. I hope she doesn't become obsessed with trying to find a way to Buffy. I was at first confused when you had the PTB say their was no magic in this dimension, but it was stated later that Willow was using her own internal magic. Confusing definition of magic for awhile there. Is Willow using her own lifeforce to power her magic? I wish you'd write about what Willow did to those terrorist miners. Wondering what Spike was planning? More soon please.
Comments from author:
I'll be explaining the magic deal more in Episode two, but for now I'll just clarify- magic, as Buffy and Willow know it, doesn't exist, as in spell books and certain ingrediants used in spells. But Willow has her own internal magical reserves, and draws on the life force of the planet she's on to keep her charged. Of course, she now has to A) rely on the spells she knows already, which is a somewhat limited supply, and B) has to try creating new spells, including any spells to open portals. As for Spike, you'll find out- by the end of Episode 3.

Thanks for the review!

Another excellent chapter with the only disappointment that Quijon died. Please make him at least have ghostly visits to our favorite Slayer. Nice use of Buffy's phobias and her work to overcome it. Hope at least you keep Buffy and Willow's involvement a secret from Palpy.

Review of chapter "Chapter 6: Return to Naboo" from Cutiepie
I'm rather enjoying this story, watching to see where you veer off from canon in order to fit Buffy and Willow into the story. I know, of course, that you can't really make major changes (like keeping Qui-Gon from dying), but it's still fun to try and catch the differences. =] Keep up the great work.
Comments from author:
Remember, just because he dies, doesn't mean his story is over. Qui-Gon played a big part in both the movies and these stories, though it will be mostly behind the scenes. Anyway, glad you enjoyed the story. Thanks for the review!
