Review of chapter "'Cause I'm evil" from Lucinda
eeeyaaahhhh.... Two completely different looks into the mind of Snape. Maybe that should be two completely different Snapes?

The first really pulls hard on the sympathy of anybody but a stone, while the second is just about as heartless as a human being could possibly be.

Very well written.

Review of chapter "Aftermath" from anabellatrix
Hi there just had to say that after reading HBP I was left very depressed by the ending I always wanted Snape to be good and loved the fact he was the HBP so reading your story has given me hope that JKR is thinking along the same lines so thankyou for lifting my spirits !! And if you want you could even continue with the theme from the first chapter cos I for one would read it!!

Review of chapter "'Cause I'm evil" from Valkyrie
See, this seems more likely. I doubt Snape considers himself evil though, in the strictest sense of the word. Evil's a moral judgement, a label others give you.

He's just a coward, siding with who he thinks is going to win. Personally, I can't wait to see him crushed along with the rest of the scum that think themselves superior.

Review of chapter "Aftermath" from Valkyrie
Oh for the love of Mike. He's a bad guy. He's a freaking bad guy! Deal with it. (On a side note, I guessed the same about RAB, which means we're probably both wrong. RAB simply hasn't been introduced yet. Two-to-three years to wait. I wonder if I can be that patient.)

Just for you, check out chapter 2.

Review of chapter "Aftermath" from ascheu
While very well written, I find it a bit unbelievable. I think you're stretching a bit far to redeem the character. Just my opinion, though I did enjoy the story.

Review of chapter "Aftermath" from Vld
I must warn anyone who reads that review: because there's major spoiler for book six.

I see I'm not the only one hoping Snape acted on Dumbledore's orders. That was the only way he could respect his vow, while still being on the light side. He's probably gonna die in book seven, anyway. There are so many things to do in book seven, though... Four horcruxes to destroy, three if that RAB destroyed the locket. There's Snape's Wizard debt towards Harry's father, and Wormtail's towards Harry. There's Draco finally deciding which side he will fight on. There's Voldemort to kill, and the little things, like Hermione finally ending with Ron, and Harry asking Ginny again. It feels like just one book isn't enough to end the story now.
Comments from author:
You're right. She's said book 7 would be short, but she's deluding herself. She has too many loose ends to wrap up.

Review of chapter "Aftermath" from Dreamweaver
Oh, I know (well, actually I suppose it should really be "can guess") at just what Sev Snape is feeling. A very long time ago, I'd read a fantasy novel in which a character said something like this.....

" be given only two choices and forced to choose the lesser of two evils when you would have willingly given up your soul for a (better) third."

Review of chapter "Aftermath" from Superkompas
THANK YOU! Very well written and EXACTLY what I was thinking after I finished the book. All of his actions were way too suspiciously not evil for him to suddenly be evil! I mean, he had so many opportunities to do worse things, and he didn't do anything but kill Dumbledore when he was backed into a corner. I still think he is in no way truly evil. I think Dumbledore was pleading with him to take the appropriate action, not try to save him. A bigger cause and all that. Man, I sure hope he turns out to just be misunderstood. Sigh. Anyway, excellent little ficlet. Good to know I'm not the only one who was completely suspicious of Snape's sudden evilness.
