Great start to this story. I am curious why they are speaking latin? Wouldn't it make more sense for people from ancient Greece to speak ancient Greek? I'm not even sure they knew latin there and in that time.

Ares' plans are usually only to benefit Ares. So, why does he want Buffy back so bad? Why does he have to use Willow? He's a god. Why not bring her back himself? If he can inteact with the modern world, he probably knows that Hercules is around. Does he know about Xena and Gabrielle? It looks like there is a movement on the demon front to get back into power since the Slayer is gone. Does this mean that Ares has a plan to take power instead? I guess I'll have to keep reading to find out more. I'll be tracking.

Yes, Ares usually only has benefits for himself. But what you also got to remember, times have changed. Gods aren't as public and powerful as before. He has a reason for using Willow. It will be explained as the story goes on. And no, he doesn't know that Xena and Gabrielle are back. Xena doesn't want the gods to know of their return. Hercules being around is canon to the show. So, yes, Ares knows Hercules is there.

I really like what you have started with this story and I hope that you are able to get back to it sometime soon. I think that Xander, Buffy and Gabrielle are going to be an interesting mix.

You have my attention with this story. I seriously dislike most Xander pairings with Buffy as they either super-charge Xander to as powerful or more than Buffy, or turn Xander into a distorted perversion in an effort to get Buffy to fall at his feet. But the stories that turn into Threesomes with Buffy and Xander for some strange reason the authors don't do that. I hope your getting the next update to this one ready :)
