Very interesting! So many writers link Spike to the Malfoys (and some quite well, too!) because of the whole platinum-blonde-hair thing that it is quite refreshing to see something so completely different like this.

This chapter, too, was a blast. It's funny how similar they are. I wonder if Luna was asking Spike about the Scourge of Europe because she knew he was around during that time, or if because she knew he was William the Bloody.

I'd love to read more of this, if you're ever inspired to continue it! I think this is a great way to give Spike something to do after the battle behind the Hyperion, and I CAN see the family resemblance (at least in some non-physical respects) between Neville and William.

What a wonderful way to combine the HP and BtVS worlds.
