Got reminded of this story today and found it and re-read it and its still great. Any timeframe on when the sequel/next part is coming out? Hope its soon! :)
Comments from author:
Timeframe is 'when it happens', as life is not helping me right now.
I look forward to it coming out as well. My close friends and prereaders feel the same way.
Thanks

Nice chapter, I really liked Xander's speach and the way he reached an agreement on the usage of his section of the asteroid belt. As usual a few nit picks:
1>A point is made in the books of the fact that Honor having TWO swords both of which were legitimatly "the Harrington Sword" prevented a major political headache by allowing both funerals to be conducted simultaneusly (or as close to such as is possible on two starsystems lightyears apart).
2>No weapons are allowed in the House of lords. Due to Grayson law an arangment allowing the Harrington Armsmen to enter armed was reached but Earl Harrington would still be unable to carry a sword into the house of lords.
3>There's nothing stopping Xander from actively serving as an officer of either the RMN or GSN or both while fulfiling his obligations to both Crown and Sword just as Honor Harrington did.
4>"My original family is best forgoten" isn't the kind of line Xander had as it hints at the trouble he had with them and even if he had opened up a bit he wouldn't tell the media there was something wrong with his original family which is what this line amounts to.

Very nice chapter. If Xander has both the soldier spirit and the Hyena spirit affecting him why did he join the navy instead of the marines? For that matter even without them pushing at him I'd think he'd be more suited (personality wise) to the marines.
A few nitpicks in this chapter: 1>While the Q-ship Honor Harington Destroyed in "On Basliks Station" Massed 8 million tons - as much or more as a SD it's armament was comparable to a Battlecruiser (possibly only a Heavy cruiser since it was one of Horible hempill's men who made the comparison).
2>While Xander might think of it as Honor being hounded out of the house of Lords be her enemies machiniations that's not true. Honor Knew what the result of chalanging Pavel Young in her first adress to the house of Lords would be (and had she not been able to figure it out herself White Haven's 'talk' would have explained it to her) But she decided the cost was worth it.
