Review of chapter "A Laugh" from DieselDriver
Review:
Why is everyone seeming to forget that the Green Lantern power is vulnerable to yellow??? Or did they change that in the decades since I quit reading comic books?
Comments from author:
Psh, you young people, Green Lantern was vulnerable to wood long before he was vulnerable to yellow. But yes they have changed things. Even if they hadn't, this is fanfiction, the people who write it tend to twist cannon to tell a story, myself included.

Review of chapter "First Star Seen Tonight" from iamnuff
Review:
you made xander too wordy... he talks WAAAAAAAAAY too much, it ruins the dramatic moments. like the "you get three guesses and the first too dont count" about batman coming back... it would have been better just sticking with batmans oath, or batman butting in and saying the oath himself.

and the ringbatman that joker made by accident? try to mention whats happaning rarther than just people reactions to it... it took three rereads before i relized what had happened

edit: holy shit, DRAGONHULK? i didn't even recognise your style at ALL.

yeah, you got MUCH better. ... its just things like the GLbatman (both the construct and the real bruce) showed up and you pretty much said "they fight" and then moved on to the reactions.

its like setting chuck norris against bruce lee then panning the camera round to the crowd for the entire fightscene.

it could really do with a rewrite, but that would take ages... hmmmm rewrite of a old story or more new chapters.

meh, id prefer the latter anyway. guess i just have to slog through till i get to the good stuff

(how many licks does it take to get to the center of a toosie roll pop?)
Comments from author:
I fully admit that I have my characters talk more than I write action. That's one of the reasons I like writing Xander, because he's a motormouth when he's nervous, much like Spider-man, so I'd have to go way overboard to have him talk so much it would be out of character. I also tend to tell when I should show, so things can get confusing.

This was still what I consider one of my early works though, and I like to think I've improved in later stories, so I hope that you aren't turned off from reading more.

Review of chapter "Meant to Be" from KingDarius
Review:
you do know that Ra is tthe sun god, right?
Comments from author:
You're not the first to point that out. Ra was the sun god, however the Egyptians believed that at night when he wasn't in the sky he was visiting the underworld and that's why he always started the day in the East instead of rising from where he ended the previous day.

Review of chapter "Meant to Be" from AnthonyR
Review:
good story so far. but is the sun god, not the god of the dead in egyptian mythology. that is anubis. so why are you saying that ra is in the underworld?
Comments from author:
Yeah Ra was the god of the sun, but it was said that he went to visit the underworld every night when the sun set.

Review of chapter "Traiding Black for Green" from orangemike
Review:
If an outfit like that was worn by a guy who did what the Big Guy did, it would retain serious coolness; and the attacks by HUAC would add to the cachet it carries, as an anti-Establishment thing. Have I mentioned how much I like this part of the storyline, the idea that this country was just too fearful to abide the supers? I wish, as a historian, that I didn't buy it; but it makes too much sense to me from the 1950s and early 1960s newspapers I read for a living.
Comments from author:
Actually I was just going by what they put in the comics. The JSA disbanding like that was in comic continuity.

Anyway glad you are enjoying the series.

Review of chapter "Inheritance: New Alliances" from Masaki
Review:
Eh I wish Xander would get his own suit instead of being a copycat of Superman because quite frankly red and blue spandex just aint cool anymore now it just makes you look like a superfag not a superhero.
Comments from author:
Well incase you missed it Superman is Xanders father, so him wearing his fathers costume is a way of him carrying out his fathers legacy. As for the comment about red and blue spandex all I'm going to say is that I still like that particular costume designe, and it's my story.
