Review of chapter "More Things Change, More They Stay The Same" from LordSia
Review:
Nice. Like it, though you could expand a lot more on the whole Demon vs Alien angle, not to mention Xander's powers as a "Perceiver".

Review:
Awesome. Great weaving of the two sets of lore.
Love Xan's backstory for the 'Perciever' element and the fact in some ways the eye helped!
Best of all beginning, middle and end - beautifully wrapped up.

Don't think that gets you out of a sequel tho.

Thanks

Didn't know what 5x5 meant. Wonder if they could run into the Mrdini or some other non canon species at some point. (total randomness-I know, story is compleat)
Thanks

"Not possible to follow cannon perfectly"
Don't know if I'd want to...might trip on a cannon ball.☺
Yes. Following a canon plot-line would be difficult, too.
^☺^

Review of chapter "Offworld Repercussions" from SlickRCBD

I was just reading this story, and noticed an error. I know it's years late, but I feel I should point it out. Anise is the name of the Tok'ra symbiont. The host's name is Freya. Also, Anise is the one that is more arrogant.

Review:
It's an enjoyable story, and I've read and re-read it more than once, but in some ways it is rather disappointing.

Xander and Faith's presence at the SGC didn't change anything. They never fought anyone for real. Training and sparring aren't enough for an 'action' story. To a very large extent Xander and Faith simply wombled through as observers while the Stargate story arc proceeded inexorably on its way as if they weren't there at all. Often I found myself thinking "What's the point?" Please ensure that, if you ever write the sequel, Faith gets to decapitate evil aliens and Xander gets to shoot them dead.

And, as other people have mentioned, your habit of using 'solider' for 'soldier' grates horribly.

Review:
Just discovered this story and I absolutely LOVED it! i normally don't read Xander-centric stories because he's my least favorite character from the show, but I LOVE Faith stories and Stargate crossovers, so I had to give it a try. Very well written. Great characterizations and storyline. :)
Comments from author:
See and I love Xander, but I try to keep him human. Enter JLA is the only story I do any character bashing in, but it is a for a reason. Mostly I try to write directions I think they could have gone.

I absolutely loved this. Xander finally being surrounded by people who appreciate him is one of my favorite things to read about.

Just reread this and still love it. I had one question, since they sent him & Faith through the SEAL training/testing and they blew past all the phases, did the salivating recruiters decide to award them a rank or induct them as SEALS?

Will you possibly be doing a story post Ori - maybe sending Faith & Xander to Atlantis so they can help out against the Wraith and with 'seeing' their potential allies? If Dawn is old enough/has enough schooling, maybe she can join them as the Language/magic support? I'd love to see Xander run across some demonic races beyond the gate.

Loki tinkered with your Xander's ancestor's genes to encode the 'knowledge', but what if he had attached that knowledge to the ATA gene? Would Xander start knowing even more stuff once exposed to the semi-sentient city? Maybe find a hidden/pop out ZPM filling station by idly thinking about needing ZPM 'gas' stations when first shown the room? Since he thinks differently than most people, maybe he finds things in the database the others haven't because of his sometimes illogical connections. (Most people attributed a title/description to something non-critical so they dismissed it for later research. Because of demonic/magical past references Xander thought it was something totally different - and it was. Ex. when someone says dusting, most people think about cleaning. Xander & Faith think about killing vampires.)

What, if any, degrees do you think he obtained while posted at the SGC? I know he was planning on eventually completing his Paramedics certificate, but what about solidifying his Language skills, or picking up some Engineering? Possibly he completed his knowledge/skills with armed/unarmed fighting. His swimming & underwater capabilities could be useful on a floating city. Maybe there are other submerged structures like Atlantis on the planet (every single Ancient lived in the original city-ship? They didn't build any other settlements or cities when they arrived on the planet?).
Comments from author:
They don't have rank as they didn't enlist, strings were just pulled to have them join the training.

There will probably someday be a follow up to Teal'c's Wish...but I just don't know yet, still haven't watched the two stand alone movies.

As for the rest of the stuff anything is possible in stories unwritten... I am glad you enjoyed.

Wow... I've never seen Stargate, but from what I've read in other fan-fiction you've done an amazing portrayal of every character in this story. I especially like how you chose to end it - focusing on the love between the Scoobies rather than any impending doom. Definitely an amazing story!

I know it's 3 years after the author wrote this story. However, that was some cliffhanger of an ending. Unfortunately, the author has not yet written a sequel. A sequel that I would dearly love to read!
Comments from author:
Technically I have one planned, but I still need to watch the last two episodes of SG-1 (I have them recorded) and then watch the Ark of Truth and Continuum... after that we will see... I need to get some other stories done first, but I haven't left the world for good.
