Certainly a long story, but I like how you didn't "wrap around" but made the Buffy characters almost an epilog.. because in the fullness of time they are barely one moment, even if they are "of the now." I also liked how Lilith tried to explain and added more questions, a sense of doubt, which probably satisfies whatever rules that higher powers have about being directly helpful.

I don't much like this, mostly because the gross amounts of sexism, on both sides, there are.
That and it portrays all men as a bunch of moronic jackasses that will amount always amount to being Evil and Manipulative Assholes in the end.

Wow. This was an amazing take on the whole origins of both vampires and the Slayer. I'm really impressed by the way you weaved the words together as well. The whole style had a legend/story-by-the-fire feel. There's so much I want to say about it but apparently your story has left me speechless.
