An outstanding POV fic, Lucinda!
Mystique is such an intriguing character. What would the ability to assume anyone's identity do one's self-image, particularly over a long period of time? I don't know much about the "official" background of Mystique according to Marvel, but this was certainly a fascinating look at what she might be thinking.
