I'm enjoying the story so far, though it really irks me that you made Xander/Willow "older" than Methos when nobody really knows how old he is the first place. In the TV series he stated he took his first head 5000 years ago - not that he was born 5000 years ago. In fact, there are at least four different ages mentioned in canon - "The Methos Chronicles" from An Evening At Joe's has him born around 3400BCE in one part and 3100BCE a few pages later. Plus the fact that he was supposed to be at least 600 years old when he took his first head... combined with the TV show this would put his birth year around 3600BCE. Then there's the HL Reunion movie from '08 that puts his birth year around 4500BCE!
Great story, and I'll definitely continue reading. The Scoobies telling Rebecca that they were older than Methos made me a little angry though lol.

I didn't actually watch the most recent movie, I tried but I only made it a short while into it before getting distracted by the bad special effects (Also I think I may have started this series before the most recent movie came out:).
I hope you enjoy the sequel, in it I do mention a reson for them being put furthur back in time than Methos' creation (are immortals born or not?). It has to do with the fact that Anyanka wanted to make sure they were far enough back in time to ensure they would be dead by the time the timelines caught up. What better way than to put them back further than the age of the longest living immortal?
That said, there may have been some element mary-sueing the characters when I made them older than Methos. I can't actually remember the details of my though process when I wrote this story it was a number of years ago.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the rest of the series. It gets a bit weird after the call of the gathering.

I don't know if I mentioned this, but the first time I heard Chamillionaire's song Ridin' was when I was reading this fic. To this day I cannot hear that song with out picturing the four horsemen riding over a hilltop to destroy something. This is one of the most artful stories on this site and by far the best series. Thank you, for the wonderful journey.

Two hands up including thumbs and big toes for a fantastically thrilling tale of epic epicness! Too bad you didn't like Cassandra she didn't have enough back story to hate her before she foolishly went after Cassiviene(?) What is the definition of that name, Willow picked it for a reason or did you? Any way love your stories I'm glad found them.

I don't know if you followed the highlander series closely or not, but in the series the four horsemen were Methos, Silas, Caspian, and Kronos. Since four men didn't really work if I wanted to put Willow in the story, I altered the name Caspian to Casvienne since it sounded slightly more feminine.
Also I didn't really want the reader to hate Cassandra(I actually like the character), it's just that the Horsemen gave her more than enough reason to want them dead. You may find Cassandra's character makes more sense in the Call of the Gathering(If you haven't read it yet).

I keed, I keed. Well sort of, I really liked who Willow and Xander had become- they were very human and more than that they were amazing to imagine, moving through the millenia like massive glacial powers... That they just poofed out of existence is very sad and that it means that their will be no Willow/Xander cuteness....alas, I will read the other stories and see if you resurect War and Pestilence. Here's hoping, and in anycase, thanks for the read.

Wow. This story just pulled me in and took me along for a ride. The end was so open, but the note said there would be a sequel and the system says there are 5 stories in this series so I have lots to look forward too.
