This was good, but I'm curious as to why it was filed under "Buffy-general," as it looks like it is a one-shot (though I'd be glad to read more!)and had almost no Buffy in it. *shrug*

That was my fault, didn't read the instructions and assumed Buffy-gen meant BTVS-gen, as a show rather than the character.
Also -an opportunity to self-advertize here- there's a story set in the same verse called Razors Under The Skin. It's parallel to the Swords, same genres are crossed over but different characters are highlighted.
In any case - thank you for pointing out the goof:)

I liked the first two thirds of the story better than the last, as by adding in more crossovers (X-men) and not setting the time and space frame for Buffy and Dawn (and Tara!) in your AU time line was confusing.
