I'm so pleased to see a new update here for one of my favorite Buffy-SG1 crossovers. I've read your story again and again over the years and it never gets old. Such good characters and plot lines that stand out in my memory. Like the back and forth dialogue between Faith and Zander. And the great staged fight between Angel and Faith to test mini Jack. Great stuff. And now you are introducing my favorite show from SG1 into your story! And using Dawn is such a perfect way to do it! It's a crime that you don't have at least a thousand reviews. I only hope that your story has a huge following but like me most have never reviewed before now. I can't thank you enough for the fine work you have done with this.

A big problem is alien attach; no one will be prepared.
Edit: I meant "attack".
By using the stargate, Earth sent out a big "here I am, what are you going to do about it!" There are already aliens on Earth but they are keeping a low profile. Eg., Seth, buried ship, etc. Slayers are bound to discover him and his weapons.

But without the SGC going out and kicking over rocks, the earth could go a long time without any aliens coming to invade us.

Well this is a problem that I was not expecting! The addition and subtraction of some slayers and others from the timeline means it is not an easy decision to make. Overall neither timeline seems to be much better and which ever one Dawn chooses some people will die or never exist. Tough choice.

I like your story and I especially like the last chapter. You've presented your characters with a challenge inside a conundrum. Do they fix the timeline or do they try to keep the one they now have. I can't wait to read your solution to this.

So thrilled to see a new chapter of this! I was afraid you'd given up on it.
The "Moebius" script tie-in with Thor's warning (I'm assuming this is related?) and Dawn as the Key retaining two sets of memories is fascinating, as is the dilemma posed by the fact that some people who died in the original Scooby timeline are alive now, while others who should be alive are dead.
I hope it won't be too long before you continue this again! :)

VERY interesting... this is the first time I see fanfic taking into account the Mobius episode. I can't wait to see what you do with it. (Oh, and thanks for not abandoning this story, I read it several times already.)

I'm a biker, and for me Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance has always been the ultimate bad luck book - I've read it twice, both times my bike has needed serious repairs within a few days, and the first time I could have easily been killed. Let's hope Sam has better luck...
Like the premise of this chapter - of course Dawn would remember the changes, it has to be part of her Keyness. Hopefully they will figure out that Earth will be attacked sooner or later if they don't put things right.

I did a double take when I saw the notification for this in my list of emails. So very, very glad to see a new chapter, especially since it was as brilliant as always. I love the idea of Dawn being able to keep her memories of both timelines, for whatever reason, and look forward to seeing how she affects the timeline and the righting thereof (if the Scoobies decide to take action).
Also, the bit about Jack being not only paranoid enough, but also observant enough to notice that he is being observed by the crews of two boats. Yep, that's our Jack!
Thank you kindly for the update; I sincerely hope that this ended whatever dry spell this story was experiencing. Even if it doesn't, I'll still be a happy camper if we can get an update every year or two, just so long as this story is finished; it's too good to languish about incomplete!
See... this is where Dawn should round up all of the dead people and the group take all of the resources they can and help fix the world by jumping through then back so that they leave the broken world and thus everyone wins... watches the Fates twitch and start looking for strings to cut... yeah great in theory... might be a tad problematic in practice.

But she can't have it all. Jack and Cassie just don't exist in a world where Anya and Amanda survived.
She *can't* have a world where everyone lives.
