I haven't sought out Methos/Buffy fic in such a long time. Mostly because so often it's trite.
Derivative.
Boring.
I simply love this.
In this chapter, I felt like I was getting to know him all over again, through Buffy's eyes.

This is amazing! I've been reading and writing Buffy fic for five years, and in all that time, I've never read or thought about her diminishing in the day/ real life and blossoming at night.
I'm not sure that I agree.
And I don't think I disagree.
I'm just not sure yet. It's just such a fascinating notion. However, no matter what conclusion I come to, I will be thinking about it for the next week at least, which is imho, the highest praise a reader can offer a ff writer.
I'm kicking myself because it never occurred to me.
And I'm jealous as hell.

Oooh! Liking! I've always been a big fan of the Buffy/Methos pairing, of which there are frankly not enough fics to satisfy so any new one is a cause for celebration! Your vignettes are really good and I'd be wondering if you have any plans for a full crossover?
Really liked the 'Thanksgiving Nazi' - Buffy can be so scary can't she? I felt sorry for the uninitiated Methos! But Xander's comments were perfect!

This was a great ficlet. I can see why she would react that way to his nonchalant way of coming back to life. I hope Buffy eventually gets around to explaining to Methos what has her so upset. I look forward to seeing more.
