You are right. no sequel. This story ends exactly how it has to end by that I mean happy. good job and good writing every time I read this one I grin, cry and laugh out loud. A chapter about the wedding would be nice and what happened to The Scoobies but on the other hand.
I love this story more and more each time I re-read it. There is one chapter that always sticks with me: "Dry Eye". The last line always makes me stop and think after it causes my heart to break: "Vala’s eyes teared up over the thought of how lonely Buffy must feel sometimes. She cried for Buffy, where the slayer couldn’t cry for herself." Such beautiful imagery and so true to how I see Buffy. Great job as always! :)

This is one of my very favorite stories on Twisting the Hellmouth. It was so good I couldn't stop reading it once I started (even though I should have been going to bed). The characters were written so well that I could see them and hear them and imagine them in every scene. If this had been a tv series it would have been one I watched religiously every week. I LOVE that you hooked up Buffy with Cam. Normally I'm all for the Buffy/Daniel pairing, but you made it seem so write for Buffy and Cam to fall in love instead. The writing was really well done, the story flowed well from scene to scene, and the only complaint I had was that it ended at all! Brava!

I just read this story and I must say that I love it:) I totally love the Buffy-Cameron relationship and OffcourseVala and Daniels as well. I think this is one of the best Buffy/Stargate x-overs that I've read.. it had everything; humor, action, romance and a little bit of angst... perfect Keep up the wonderful work :)

I was just rereading, because it's one of my favorite series, and a question popped up. Did we ever find out what Buffy's tattoo was? If it was in there and I missed it, could you point me in the right direction? And if it wasn't, can you tell me what it was? Thanks!
Comments from author:
*ducks head* I had always meant to have her tattoo reappear, but it never did.
Her tattoo was the ever common heart with a wooden stake in it centered on the small of her back. :D
Thanks! Pol
