Beautiful combination. This is actually the fourth or fifth time I've read this, and I thought I'd reviewed it already; better late than never, though. I have to admit, I get a giggle out of the idea of her throwing Mary Poppins references at Grissom. (Which she probably has done, but he doesn't remember.)
An interesting follow-up might be her meeting with Warrick after a certain two-parter from the show.

Many thanks - don't think I want to write a sequel, I think it's best as a stand-alone.

Somehow had missed this little gem before. It's a perfect encapulation of both Grissom and Death, and how appropriate that she should use her brother's realm to help or pass on those little titbits that make all the difference.
Lovely stuff.

Neat. Short, sweet and to the point. I can really see Grissom sitting there, wondering why dreams, the most illogical of illogical, can help where sometimes evidence fails him. Nicely done.
