Review of chapter "11th hour, 11th day, 11th month" from Gideon
Review:
Nice work, I bit more serious than most stories on here, but reality is a bit more serious sometimes isn't it?
I couldn't be sure about who the 2nd brunette was though, would it be Kennedy?
Comments from author:
The second brunette is Faith.

Review:
Beautiful. Respectful. Poignant.

It is a tragedy that so few remember the many who have fallen for all of us to live and have the degree of freedom that we do. When I was little, what we called poppy day was a special day we were taught to revere. We were taught to respect both those who came back, and those who had given their all. (I grew up in two commonwealth countries). When I was home recently, I was glad to see that it is still held in high regard.

Thank you.

Wild Blue

btw: In hundreds of reviews, I've only given out a handful of 10's

A perfect, complete, and absolutely appropriate little gem

A pity that Armistice Day has become a generic Veteran's Day.

Thanks

Simple & tasteful. Nicely done!

Those that do not remember the past are doomed to repeat it.

Review:
The feeling in this is right and t'is how it usually feels on the 11/11 at 11.
Interesting so see them written into part of reality that most of us actually associate with,(that isn't a wild romance) in words. Remembrance and ANZAC day are always highly observed where I live.
I really liked this.

I come from a long line of service personel, I myself being an ANZAC, I find not only the mood but the reverance that you have written this peice to be lovley, caring and well thought out. Well done.

P.S
I am not sure what country or if you are aware of what exactly an ANZAC is and it may seem a bit redundent me saying this [Australian and New Zealand Army Corps] but you would be supprised at how many people ask (I couldn't find your country of origion in your profile and I didn't want to assume)

Having seen the British honors, I feel that it would be the best way for that group to honor those who have died. Much better than the US version which has lost sight of the reason for this holiday, and truly forgets the many who have given their lives for all of us. Great fic!
