Review of chapter "Home?" from Cristina
Review:
Love it! I would read it sooner, but I didn't know what Firefly is. But now I saw DVD and well I like it so I started to look for Buffy/Firefly crossings.

I have however two questions (well at the moment anyway):

Is this is before the movie?
And will this be Buffy/Mal?

Review of chapter "Home?" from onlimain
Review:
I can imagine how it would be difficult for Buffy to find a way back, but she seems to already have accepted that she wasn't ever going back. Actually, according to River, it's impossible, but Buffy doesn't know that yet. I like how Buffy just accepts River's name for her; and even identifies with it. I'm looking forward to how you integrate Buffy into life on Serenity.

Review of chapter "Do We Trust Her?" from onlimain
Review:
I liked this chapter. It shows how much Mal has come to trust River. He's willing to trust Buffy because River trusts her. That's pretty high praise. And of course, Jayne doesn't trust her for the exact same reason. :-) However, Mal's comment that Buffy doesn't look in any shape to do them harm shows that he's underestimating her just a tad. Hopefully, she won't have to prove what she's capable of until they trust her for herself.

Review of chapter "From The Top" from onlimain
Review:
This was great! I liked how Buffy got Mal to introduce himself first before they had their 'discussion'. And I liked how she figured out River was a telepath so quickly. It's obvious if you've met a telepath before (or, in Buffy's case, been one). It's nice to know that Buffy's mind isn't that bad a place to be for River. Wash was so cute with his hand-raising and pointing out the earlier mention of a demon. I wonder when Mal and his crew will finally believe her.

Review of chapter "Home?" from (Past Donor)Krisztina
Review:
Hey Pol sugar!

Well, it looks like she's starting to get settled, which is good. Since she doesn't have any clothes of her own, and no money, it makes me wonder what she'll wear. It's not like the crew has much to spare. Maybe something from one or both of the Tams? Or maybe something accidentally left by Inara?

I'm excited to see what will come next and whether the crew will have hints about her powers, or if you'll have a big reveal in a conflict with the Reavers or while they're doing crime :)

Oh, and I wanted to ask you, did you mean to say that she hadn't felt like she belonged in years?

Hugs! sita:)

Hey darlin'!

Thanks for pointing out the typo. It is now corrected. That's what I get for not looking over what I had typed closely enough. I don't send my drabbles to my betas.

I honestly have no real clue where this is going. I'm just kind of writing as the prompts hit me. Kind of scary that way.

As for her clothes. It was always something that I wondered about River. She had appeared naked but was always dressed afterwards. They never mentioned if Simon had brought them or if she was borrowing. So we'll just have to see. I'm just flying by the seat of my pants here. :D

Thanks for reviewing!

Review:
Hey Pol honey!

(“I think she’s nuts,” Jayne said, taking a drink from his mug.) Wow, Jayne - insightful, and as your story proves out, to the end of the page, stubborn as ever!

I thought it was really interesting, how even though she's a little unstable, Zoe and the captain are willing to go along with River's opinion of Buffy. Granted, they know by now that she's a reader, but I liked the way they seemed to have faith in River's devotion to Serenity and her crew.

Once again, very well done, sweets!

Hugs! sita:)

Hey darlin'!

Well you know my fascination with Jayne. :) He's always been like Cordelia and Spike - pointing out the truths that no one wants to hear and sticking by them. Won't it be fun when he starts to get to know her? ;)

I've got this set enough after the show that they understand her 'gift' and they know that she knows that Serenity is where she is the safest. Despite Jayne being stupid and them constantly being shot at. I don't think River would ever do something to jeopardize that. Plus, they were quite willing to take her on a job at the beginning of the movie so they've obviously learned to trust her in that regard.

Thanks for reviewing, dear!

Review of chapter "Do We Trust Her?" from (Recent Donor)Mari
Review:
My favorite line is Jayne's--he's right. He should be more worried because River likes her. Not much not dangerous about Buffy.
Comments from author:
The sad thing is, Jayne is right a lot of times. He's got this wonderful habit of pointing out the truth. Now, it may not be the truth everyone wants to hear, and it may not be morally right, but it usually is the truth.

Thanks for reviewing!

Critiques aren't necessary. Just keep enjoying the fic and let me know if I start wandering off the path. :)

Two thumbs up...liking this one keep it going...any idea on romances?
Comments from author:
There will be a romance, I think. I haven't decided on whether it will be Jayne or Mal. I'll just have to wait and see how things progress.

Hey bebe!
Well, that was just amazingly cool! Loved your use of River as a bridge between Buffy and the others. Also, I thought that River locking on to Merrick was really interesting. I hope that you will share some of the highlights of Buffy's career, with River interrupting, of course :) This story is just so much fun!

Can't wait 'til the BDM is released tomorrow on DVD!

Hugs! sita:)

Hey darlin'!

The prompts just weren't speaking to me for Buffy to share her story so I'm afraid you guys don't get to read it. But you'll hopefully get to see some aftermath... at least, I hope so. These prompts aren't speaking to me all the time.
