I love that Xander points out his immoratlity might not go over well with buffy.... wont take it well i died and didnt get around to telling her...... wonderful! oh fantastic. love xander, and this just makes it so much better, the way he and spike and amanda interact is great to read, i can so see that in my head......

i should hope there will be some dawn in this when they get to rome, to see her reaction to spike as well as buffys, cause i have to believe that she meets them all one way or another.... either the immortal is there and reconizes xander or something! cant wait for the next update!!!

Amanda is almost a replacement Anya/Cordy, in my mind ~ someone for Spike and Xander to snark with. I haven't quite decided on the dawn thing, on the one hand i love her, but i'm having a hard time making her fit this fic. More soon

I like the story premise so far, though there are few problems in theory your story merges the worlds a lot better than half the stories I have read.
About regeneration of limbs, I always thought that the only limbs that are completely lost were those lost before the first death, that being said I am sure even for immortals a lost limb takes a long time to grow back (like years, decades or even centuries). The other thing that I thought about was that immortal healing could be directly linked to the quickening, so the eye might not grow back until he has taken a few heads or his regeneration ability might be retarded by the fact that Caleb was infused by the power of the 'first evil' and the eye won't regrow until both hellmouth and other past taints are purged from his system.

Sorry alot of supposition and it really would not affect the story in any matter except for perhaps epilogue or possible sequals,

I'm glad you think i've managed to make the two worlds fit, there's nothing in buffy canon to refute the existance of immortals and we know from the whole millenium demon thing that immortals know about demons.
I think i mentioned it my notes but i based my decision about xander's eye on xavier st cloud's role in highlander canon.
In the season one ep, For Tomorrow we die, Duncan cuts his hand off, when he shows up again in later eps (Unholy alliance, finale 3) he has a hook where the hand used to be and is very pissed off about it.

oh fantastic, i love the last chapter, folling the changes in xander, the way he realizes what has happened and then accepting it with time.... even with Angel wondering if it is for the best.... oh i cant wait to see how those three all work themselfs and their infulences on xander out.....

poor angel doesn't really know what to do with methos, he's not used to dealing with someone older and more powerful than him, but i think he's finally starting to get a clue

Very good. I am so enjoying this, I love the changes in Xander and the relationship between him and the other immortals. And I can't wait to see how things work out between him, Methos and Angel. I can't wait for more, great work!
