This sounds like an interesting plot bunny. Horatio is going to lead Xander to his real dad. I wonder who Horatio knows that could be Xander's dad because, except for the cop Frank Tipp, all the men Horatio knows are younger than himself. I do like how Xander takes care of people. Even when they've just met. This might be interesting if you want to continue the story.
