I didn't so much leave out the backstory as jump ahead from where the previous story ended to this one, since it was more suitable for the original purpose I was writing it, which was as a part of a larger, multi-author story.
I'll try to get another part of this out in the near future, depending upon my muse's whims.

I am curious, is this one of the stories you plan on updating in the near future? I also noticed one of the Charmed sisters last name was Kent. As in her husband is Clark Kent? Don't keep me in suspense now. (lol) Take care.

You have to update this! I always like seeing stories where Xander gets kidnapped and the Scoobies become determined to get him back. There are only a few like that out there. Slap your muse AWAKE!

Now that Buffy and Faith et al have joined the fight the result is really a foregone conclusion, isn't it? Still, I'm sure it will be fun to read about how they stomp their enemies into the dirt, so please continue writing!

And Xander lays some smack down! Love it. It is a bit weird that you have apparently powered up all the characters with major kick-ass power (including Dru!) but I'm just gonna go with it. After all it seems like the world where Xander is now located will need all the help it can get. Maybe someday we will learn the stories that go between this one and the previous one in the series.

This story was to be part of a massive crossover among a half-dozen authors, with the plot involving a massive cross-dimensional invasion and some very powerful Big Bads. Unfortunately, the crossover fizzled out before more got written. ;-(
I will be finishing this story, and you'll get a glimpse of some of the Big Bads, but I rather doubt there will be anything more seen of the original storyline.

Update! Oh, and fill in the gap where the Initiative does the meet and greet with the SGC. I've got the feeling that the Goa'uld are pulling their non-existent hair as the Tau'ri begin fielding humans stronger, faster and tougher than Jaffa, occasionally backed by literal gods. I also foresee great numbers of Jaffa defecting to join the New Jedi Order, complete with magical training and lightsabers...

Interesting start so far and glad to see an update since if the date listed for starting this fic is correct it's been a while. Though I do have a question, is there a more recent link to the http://linesofconvergence.bigheadsbr.com/ story you pointed out in the first chapter? That link just goes to a dead page now and I can only guess it's gone from that page now, was it posted any where else?

I am missing the connection between the end of the first story and the start of this one I think. this is still cool, but it would be nice to know how Dru joined up and when they met up with the SGC.
