Review of chapter "In Elegant Solitude" from Mierke

I know I should probably add more insightful comments on this story, because it definitely deserves it. But I just can't seem to find the words. It was almost poetic, the way you put Snape's thoughts on paper.

Really beautiful.

Brilliant!! I continue to enjoy how you portray the HP folks even though it seems like its been a while.

It has been a while. I'd like to get back into HP, but I've got other fish to fry.

Review of chapter "In Elegant Solitude" from Clannadlvr
"Elegant" is quite the appropriate descriptive for this vignette. You really capture the poetic nature of Snape below all that dark pragmatism. Spot on characterization- I especially appreciate how you show us that even Snape needs a little kindness sometimes, even if that's less than most. Great insights all around: "Even they were still adolescents, though, claiming the right to be adults when they had no fundamental concept of what it was to be alone." adulthood=solitude. Just lovely and sad and so Snape.
Comments from author:
Thank you. Snape is so often portrayed as full of rage and I think a lot of authors overlook his sadness.
