I have just reread this story again and it was just as good as the last time I read it.

A good story is always worth rereading.

Review of chapter "Chapter 24 - Tie 'em up, or burn 'em off." from PaxDraconix
Review:
You know, at this point he should be tough enough that a wooden stake shouldn't even harm him. Just as Buffy couldn't touch his brother-in-law. I think he just hasn't realized yet that he can will himself to be impervious to those things. Seriously, he dies way too easily at this point.
Comments from author:
Um, he wasn't dead. At least not when Faith staked him, as you pointed out, all that would do is annoy him.

But he stopped fighting, and more or less played dead for a moment, so he could calm the Slayer down.

Note that a moment later he stops Cat from Vanquishing Faith...

Thanks for taking the time to comment on the story several times, by the way. I hope you enjoyed it, and read the sequels as well.

Review of chapter "Chapter 19, Mountains out of Molehills" from PaxDraconix
Review:
So, the NID are going to try to create vampires, eh? Don't think Xander's going to be too happy about that. And will they still see him as their Sire? Or will Harry be caught (which I'd prefer.)
Comments from author:
They saw Harry as their sire, in as much as they did anythnig.

Review of chapter "Chapter 15 – "Bait and Switch"" from PaxDraconix
Review:
For the last part, he can see in the dark, remember? So he should have been able to see her perfectly fine. Unless he'd tuned down his sense of sight that far for some reason and turned off the automatic adjustment to low light vision?
Comments from author:
Not sure on this comment... If it's this scene:
Xander, who had just shut off the light peered at her in the darkness, the only light coming from the clock on the nightstand behind his head, and the tiny safety light in the bathroom. "Yes, Cat?"

"Do you know what we haven't done yet?" she asked, being as seductive as she could.

Xander blinked in the dim light, then shook his head, "Did I leave the milk out or something?"

(Snip)

He had just turned the light out. I don't see his eyes adjusting instantly to darkness, it would take at least a minute or so for the light from the clock and the bathroom to fully illuminate the room to him, unless he forced it somehow.

Review of chapter "Prologue & Chapter 1 – On the Road" from PaxDraconix
Review:
Is he forgetting he can fly? I would think he could fly to his destination far faster than he could walk (or even drive.)
Comments from author:
I think it's less he forgot he could fly, than he had no idea where to fly to. At least with a road he had somewhere to go.

Also, over his years in hell, flying may not have been the best mode of transport, if one didn't wish to be eaten by something larger and faster. He may not be in the habit of flying.

Review of chapter "Chapter 17, Nuptials." from (Recent Donor)Keldin
Review:
I read a lot of fanfiction. I suppose that's not unusual for most on this site, but I thought it was a good preface.

It's a very rare fanfic that brings out an emotional reaction in me. In this case, laughter.

Devil's Head in a Box.
The Snyder Demon.
Giles' snapping his glasses with his last 'good lord.'

I was laughing so hard that the screen was blurring from the tears. Thank you!

I enjoyed reading this more than the first story: Forever White Knight. The action, the crossovers, the snake and rat bashing, and semi-closure of the ending just made for a better story.
Comments from author:
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Review of chapter "Chapter 24 - Tie 'em up, or burn 'em off." from Ezmerelda
Review:
Wonderful story, wonderful ending!

Reaper and Alice are interesting enough on their own for their own story (hint, hint). :P

I've had so much fun following this story, you did a great job of giving Xander super powers without it going overboard. It sounds funny to say that, since you did make him a god and everything, but you did so in a very ordinary, down-to-earth way. Too many others don't get the subtleties and dump it all on him at the same time, making it very difficult for readers to suspend disbelief (something that's very critical for sci-fi and fantasy).

Anyway, you did a good job of avoiding the pitfalls, and I enjoyed every minute of the story.

Thanks for writing! ~"~
Comments from author:
Oh, Reaper and Alice will likely show up again. But not in their own story. At least, not that I plan at this time. (I have a plan for the SG1 'verse's future. It'll be back in a story or two.)

It's hard to write a "Super Xander" story. That was a large part of the challange. But the greater challange will be to present new challanges to Xander and Cat in a plausable way. The philosophy expresses by Mr. Whoopie should help though, forcing Xander and Cat to restrain themselves in some cases. And one of those cases will be covered in detail in the next story, whenever I get to it.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and even gladder you took the time to tell me so. And you're welcome. :)
