Absolutely superb. But it's been so so SO LONG since an update. I've been checking in on this story for ages, in hopes there might be an update this time or the next time or... It's too good to be abandoned, & I'm scared that you seem to have utterly done just that. Please don't do that. Coax the muses back out of hiding and update soon. Please.

Oooh...I like this. I can almost imagine the fireworks that are sure to happen when she gets back. And I'm really enjoying imagining the look on Carter's face when she gets the whole 'demons exist' memo. *snickers*

Poor Carter would go into shock if she learned that 'demons exist'! The look on her face would be just priceless. She would want proof and then she'd be trying to disect how magic worked and how the demons (and Slayers) existed. I'll tell you I have no plans to admit that little detail for many, many more chapters. When it is revealed it will be kinda on accident, kinda a necessity.
