Review of chapter "Ch 37 –"There's a battle outside, And it's ragin'"" from Edman
Review:
Awesome story
Keep on going
Nice twist on Grindelwald really being Albus.
Comments from author:
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed the chapter.

More will appear as my muse dictates it.

Review of chapter "Ch 37 –"There's a battle outside, And it's ragin'"" from CageFire
Review:
This is an awesome story. :) I'll really be looking forward to reading more. :) The whole dumbledore is grindewald thing is interesting. I think I might have seen it used once or twice before, but I really can't remember. Maybe I'm imagining it. If nothing else it's rare.
Comments from author:
Glad I could surprise you with that twist. ;-)

I've been waiting for the time to reveal that for a very long time. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter 36 – "The Times They Are A-Changing..."" from DieselDriver
Review:
Well, maybe the portrait should be burned after all. So it turns out it wasn't Dumbledor after all. Hmm. Good. I guess anyway.
Comments from author:
Burning might be too merciful. Maybe they could find out exactly what effects sandpaper or paint removers have on magical portraits, first. ;-)

Review of chapter ""You Know, You're Really Beginning To Piss me Off-" from DieselDriver
Review:
Wow! It turned out to be physical after all except that it was only excruciating for a few minutes. I'm sure he's gone to his just reward though.
Comments from author:
Yep. Buffy finally got the opportunity to punch out the idiot responsible for Harry's kidnapping, and she didn't waste any time taking advantage of it. ;-)

Review of chapter ""To Whom It May Concern –"" from DieselDriver
Review:
Oh yeah! I was right. It wasn't physical but on someone like him it was even better. And it's going to get worse as the only possible punishement is to send him ti Azkhaban (sp?).
Comments from author:
Publicly humiliating someone like Dumbledore is probably more painful than physically hurting them, since they value public adulation much more than anything else. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter 32 – Pardon the Interruption" from DieselDriver
Review:
Oh goodie! Stumblebum, er, Dumbbunny, er, Bumbledum, er, darn, can't seem to get that right, anyway, he's is about to get an old fashioned butt kicking but good! Maybe not in the next chapter but soon I hope. He can bring it on sooner by trying to take total control or even ANY control of the Buffy family.
Comments from author:
Anything that happens to Dumbledore is something that he deserves and which he brought on himself by his actions. ;-)

Review of chapter "22 - Interlude: Rules Are Made For A Purpose" from DieselDriver
Review:
Don't have a clue what "The Fluke" was. Fluke to me means a Brand of electronic testing equipment. or the idiot who testified before congress what a slut she is and who even pronounces her name such that it rhymes with the word of stuff she likes to do that is slutty.
Comments from author:
The Fluke was the name given to the incident when Willow and Xander were kidnapped by Spike in Season Three and they kissed and were discovered doing so by Oz and Cordelia.

Review of chapter "Chapter 20 – “…You May Get It!”" from DieselDriver
Review:
Harry is so totally right about what he's telling Stumblebum, er, Dumbeldore and his co-horts that it's going to be a pleasure to think about it.
Comments from author:
Harry may not be a Seer, but he's got a lot more realistic view of his kidnappers' futures than Trelawney could ever have. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter 19 – Be Careful What You Wish For" from DieselDriver
Review:
That bit about riding "Uncle Oz" in his wolf form and their reaction to it was so funny I couldn't stop laughing for at least 2 minutes and it was longer than that before I could continue reading. OMG that was about the funniest thing I've heard in YEARS!!!
Comments from author:
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed that scene. ;-)

I envisioned the reunited Scoobies as seeing each of them as family as close, or sometimes closer, than brothers and sisters, so family gatherings and frequent interactions would be expected. ;-)

Review of chapter "18 – Catch Me If You Can" from DieselDriver
Review:
Harry's right. They will be very very sorry. Sooner or later the Scoobies will have to figure it out and come to re-rescue him. Perhaps Harry can learn enough magic to send them a missive.
Comments from author:
Yep, Harry had a much more realistic view of what would be heading their way than Dumbledore and the idiots who looked up to him ever did. ;-)

Review of chapter "Part 11 – Introductions and Predilections" from DieselDriver
Review:
Ok Good! At least Remus is starting to have misgivings about the idiocy that Dumbledore is coming up with. His manipulative personality is going to get him in a world of hurt. I never did like the way Big D stuck Harry back with the Dursely duffuses. (Duffai?) How could he have EVER thought it would be a good idea to stick him in with that family of idioyutzes. (my new word. from the words "idiot" and "yutz".
Comments from author:
Going by the canon JKR personally established, I could *never* understand why so many people insisted that Dumbledore was a good guy.

If anyone ever pulled some of the shenanigans he did in real life, they'd end up in jail so fast, their hair would still be flapping in the breeze by the time their butt hit the cell floor! ;-(

Review of chapter "10 – Revelations (No, Not That Book In The Bible)" from DieselDriver
Review:
And into the story comes SG1... My first thought however was "Hmmm, I wonder if he's by any chance related to "John Carter" by Burroughs.

Before that I was thinking "Oh Sonuvagun!. Someone from the wizarding world is going to do something really, really stupid and get their behinds kicked up so high they'll have to take their hat off to go the toilet." Reading that prophecy was so obvious to me that the boneheads who heard it will wonder what the heck hit them when they do the boneheaded stunt they are going to come up with. I laughed quite well and out loud for sure.
Comments from author:
I chose that name for a variety of reasons, and the Burroughs allusion was just one of them. ;-)

And watching the morons in the Wizarding World be warned of what the potential consequences for their stupidity and screw-ups might be, and still go ahead with their plans, is always a lot of fun. ;-)

Review of chapter "Part 9 – Truth and Consequences, Growing up Scooby" from DieselDriver
Review:
Good! People who think others are abhorrent just because they are different are no less bad for being delusional. The whole idea of treating someone differently, let alone trying to kill them, is anathema to proper thinking. This guy is no worse than anyone in the KKK or their opposite number, the new black panthers.
Comments from author:
Yes, those who condemn others because they don't conform to their own particular beliefs are no better than any other group of racist bastards out there, regardless of what they profess to believe. ;-(

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from DieselDriver
Review:
"A loud B-R-A-A-A-P-P-P, accompanied by a foul-smelling stench, suddenly filled the air."

Heh heh... I know from raising two boys that babies are good at that particular action.
Comments from author:
Yeah, babies are definitely major potential chemical WMD producers. ;-)

Review of chapter "Ch 37 –"There's a battle outside, And it's ragin'"" from banner
Review:
Yay Xander - I didn't even *think* of that possibility.
Comments from author:
Yes, indeed. When you're dealing with monsters in human form, you need to consider *every* possibility they might have thought of, in order to preclude them succeeding.
