Funny. And now the muse ask, what if it had been Alexis animating the frog? Can't you just picture the girl's parents wanting Anita to teach their sweet little kid dead-raising? (What with Anita being a Federal Marshal and heap big vamp killer, they would probably figure their kid would be safe with Anita.)
Anyway...
"Be at peace, and hop no more" lol! I'm still laughing at that.

omg I almost spit my pepsi from laughing! Ha! I LUV it! It really is surprising that Richard hasn't gained more power from JC or Anita. I'd love to read more. This was perfect!

Well, that rocks. Never thought of Richard gaining Anita's unconscious ability to raise small random dead... I hope he can train it and restrict it to conscious action, or the parents of his students might form a committee and try to ban him from school... Nah, necromancy is a useful job skill. It's not like the werewolf's ability to tear out throats which - to quote Terry Pratchett - is annoying, especially when done before meals.

Hee Hee! As someone who's had something come alive during a dissection, I get where Richard's coming from. We didn't even think about performing a magic ritual as a way to get the cockroach to quit twitching. Hrm, I guess next time I'll know. ;)

That was hilarious! Zombie frog, ha! I never really thought too much about what Richard was gaining, even after the time he interfered with her zombie. I wonder what's happened to JC?
