Erm, you realize a Desoto is a car MAKER, right? A Dodge Desoto is like saying a Honda Toyota. Spike's got a DeSoto Fireflite, a '59 to be precise.

I know nothing about cars other than what kind of car I own. Thanks for the info, I didn't know if they ever told the audience what the car was other than it was a DeSoto, they weren't like SPN where the car is a character.

hmm.. my impression from smallville.. is that in spite of alot of the bad things Lex does, he'd still probably let Spike take the painting and not track it. It won't harm him. And having a girl who knew the vampire, around, would allow him to call on Spike if he ever needed him.
