I really liked this, I never realised until now but given the type of person Lindsey was he would have protected himself. If you ever get to see those earlier episodes I would love to read a sequal!!

Lindsey is a person you do not want as your enemy. I'm sure he'll think of something to get back at Angel. Nice read.

I think you caught the spirit of Lindsey very well (if you don't kill me, I'll make sure you regret it).

However, if you ever decide to continue this in a series, you might want to review Lindsey's earlier relationship with Angel in seasons 1 & 2 (you only refer to his season 5 activities, and not his highly ambivalent and therefore intriguing love-hate relationship with both W&H and the whole 'evil villain' gig back when he first started to fixate on Angel -- and be sure not to miss the "evil hand" episode that marked a major chance for Lindsey to reform, as well as to play his "annoying little brother" riffs off of Lilah and Angel).

Thanks for posting this. I can't imagine why the possibility you mention at the end had never occurred to me before.
