I like your version much better than the way canon depicted Oma's fate, as well as the fate of poor Harrid and Sallis.
And I loved seeing Buffy reclaim herself, and sacrifice herself (as she always does, in the end) to allow Oma the chance to return and (hopefully) set right some things with the Ori that had been wrong for too long.

And they have the nerve to call themselves the Ascended. The only ones that deserved that title were Oma, Buffy and Daniel. And that other guy in the end. The rest of them were pretty much worthless. Loved the part with Bratac- he is NEVER used enough in virtually any story. He will be glad to see Buffy. I wonder if they let her keep her slayer powers? They should, but probably did not the ^%^$^%$##@@!!!

Very cool. I know it's complete, and it has that very neatly finished ending, but I want a sequel anyways. Greedy, I know, but I really liked this story. Thanks for posting this idea through to the end.

I have a sequel plotted, but more of my WIPs need to be completed before I actually put any thoughts to paper. I'm trying this thing where I don't post any new stories unless they are complete but I'm happy with how this one turned out also. Thank you for taking the time to review!
So I just read this and am really hoping there is a sequel as you left off in such an amazing spot! Admittedly it can stop there successfully by why stop a good thing? Anyway, great job and I loved the ending.
