I don't have a clue how you're going to improve upon this, if it's a first chapter, rather than a one-shot.

Faith as Janet's daughter? Interesting. Is she also Cassie's adoptive sister or is Cassie either non-existent or been adopted by someone else? And Faith is a Slayer. She can heal anything... I hope!!! A paralysed Slayer would be bad. Really bad. Assuming she's a Slayer?
